I M A FIRST TIME PATIENT OMG 😊 For the first time in 2 decades I woke up with full of hope after being listened and checked by Oakstreet healthcare workers and Dr Alden yesterday

I didn't think there was any decent treatment in hospitals in USA after they botched almost everything and used and abused me thus I always go TO OVERSEAS for all my Healthcare needs

THIS CHANGED NOW! The staff and Dr Alden treated me with respect and compassion every human being deserves! They didn't have any prejudice and I could see they cared and gave all their attention to my complex issues he actually listened to me for an hour! I had another hour before that with other Healthcare staffers

Also, There was an assistant in the room with the Dr doing all the recording so Dr Alden had his full attention and time listening to my complex issues

What a great concept!

They Made my decade! Trust me I have been through many many unfortunate and torturous sessions and surgeries in Denver H I know the difference

I woke up with hope for the first time in 2 decades God bless them all in OAKSTREET HEALTH and looking forward to my visits and healthcare options

Ok so I switched my insurance and went to first THREE appts. Yes it took 3.

Interview Bloodwork Actual appointment.

During 3rd appt, she discussed results of bloodwork, wrote a couple of scripts. Asked about falls, and my concerns. I specifically mentioned multiple falls, at least obe of which was caused by knee issue. She blew that off. Never even looked at knee. I complained of recurring chest pain and a previously diagnosed mitral valve issue. That too was blown off.

She pursued her agenda. Mammogram and bone density appts.

Im sorry, they need to address MY agenda first.

Crowning touch was they offered to send their driver and van to assist me with transporting my husband who is unable to walk or stand & in a wheelchair. They assured me their driver was able to help.

Their new driver, a young woman, informed me she was only required to drive, curb to curb and would not assist with transfers.

Not impressed.

The best place I’ve ever been for my primary care! My LPN Zoe Hill is phenomenal!! They firstly do as they actually say on their website… take the time to listen to your needs! They do not rush you through your appointments, make you feel small or unimportant, they don’t treat my (legitimate) service dog like she’s inconvenient and as someone who’s disabled and has last minute needs occasionally they don’t make me feel uncomfortable if I need to change my appointment to a tellamed vs in person or need assistance getting there. I’ve never recommended a primary before but this is one I’m singing praises about and can’t...
