I have been on this hike three times. The first was myself, and the following hikes were with friends that visited the area. It is a terrific way to start an early morning, and to get fresh air, beautiful 360 views, and a peak at the sun as it begins to rise for the day. The guides share very interesting facts about Denver and the surrounding area, and fascinating history about the Red Rocks venue and archaeological information. The hike is fun, very manageable and uncovers much wildlife, waiting to be discovered. Wear proper footwear, with good tread, because it is not a concrete path, but a proper hiking trail. Having lived in Colorado for years I was surprised and delighted with the entire experience and kicked myself for not doing this sooner. AJ, our guide, was knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. It was fun to get the history of a place I've visited many times and hear stories about the park and Amphitheatre that I didn't know. We had a large group mixed with locals and visitors and it was fun getting to experience the beauty of Red Rocks with both groups.
