This will be the longest post I've ever made, but if you are in search of the right artist please read:

I love and am very passionate about Anime, so when I knew I wanted to get my first tattoo, I wanted to find someone that would do it right. I looked around and when I finally found an artist (East Estrada) I followed his instagram and saw his previous work and knew he was the guy. I booked and had to wait about 3 months, he asked for some reference photos and I sent them and proceeded to wait.

As the day got closer, I started to get nervous about getting a tattoo and if would even look good on me, or I wouldn't like the design and be too afraid to voice my opinion.

To the ease of my anxiety, when I arrived for my appointment, not only was he very nice and the vibes were friendly, the design he made for me was so cool, I was eager to get it done and my nerves were eased. He is very adamant about customer input and if you will be happy with it.

The shop was amazing and it made me feel so welcomed and comfortable, we watched anime for most of the session on TV, he had plenty of snacks and beverage options that he offered while we worked all day.

It was a very 10/10 experience for a first time...

Unbelievable work. The shop has a great vibe—Resident Evil fans will recognize the lobby ripped straight out of the game. Spooky overtones served with a smile. East is easygoing, fun to talk to and hang out with, and will teach you anything and everything about his business and methods. He takes both his art and client relationships very seriously. He doesn’t just do anime; he’ll do anything from photorealism and microportraits to vibrant, colorful new school, basically anything you’d want—if it isn’t something he knows he’ll knock out of the park, he’ll tell you where else to go. I got my first ever tattoo here about a year ago now. The place was incredibly clean and East was extremely friendly. He walked me through everything, even stayed late to get the design done. Fantastic to work with, couldn’t recommend them more.

If you’re like me, I spent hours looking over dozens of all equally talented anime tattoo artists but found myself having trouble putting my full trust in them for my first ever tattoo (and hoping I wouldn’t regret it) before finding and picking East.
