Lucky Panda Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Derry

So I’ve always been a derry express guy but since that closed down I decided to try lucky panda. Now I’m not one to write reviews but after the experiences I’ve had here I feel it is warranted. Normally you can have 10 Chinese places you like because one is great rice and the other is great crab Rangoon ect. I have tried their food now about 10 times and where I had mixed reviews in the beginning I am set on not going there again! My first time I got a bunch of stuff and was not totally thrilled especially about their rice. I did get General Tao’s chicken and although it was orange in color it was spicy and had great texture and flavor. Their pork fried rice was flavorless and very light in color. Now what you get you would expect each time but that was not the case. Every time the order was different in its preparation. This past time I asked for extra spicy General Tao chicken. And it came back soggy and no spice. The rice was drowned in soy sauce to the point it was not eatable by everyone in the household. The Kung pao chicken was also soggy and flavorless.... the chicken lo mein container was barely filled and also had no flavor.. it goes on... I spent $130 and most went in the trash... I do not recommend this place and will never go...

So we had a long day. My dad had a stroke so I had spent the last two days driving back and forth to boston. We have 2 kids and we did not want to cook We wanted some Chinese food and decided on lucky panda. We had placed our order with grub hub at 525 which was a mistake. Grub hub delayed our order 3x. After 2nd delay I called lucky panda to see if the order was finished and it was. I informed the girl on the phone that I would be there in 15 mins to pick it up because grub hub had now delayed our order for the third time. And wouldn't be here until 730 after an initial 630 delivery eta. We informed grub hub to return our delivery fees as we would be picking up our order. 10 mins into my drive lucky panda called and said grub hub had just picked up our food and they were trying to save me a hassle which i greatly appreciated. Lucky panda exceeded our customer service expectations and we will be definitely be going back because even though grub hub delivered the food late and some of it was cold it was still tasty after heating it up. Thanks again to the staff for trying to help...

Where to begin? This was my first, and last time ordering from this restaurant. The fried rice was absolutely not even close to fried rice. Pork friend rice with no egg? No vegetables? Fresh, soft rice? Just soy sauce-soaked rice they pass off as fried rice. The meat was questionable. Not sure my "beef" was actually beef and I have some serious questions about the origins, cut of meat if it was actually from a bovine, and freshness due to the gray, soft, almost slimy texture. Are they paying off the board of health inspectors? The pork looked like they stored it for a week in soy sauce and tasted like it. I am actually angry that they pass this food off, it's not even mall Chinese quality! That says something. The cabbage was brown and withered in places, like they had used spoiling produce. I do not know how they are in business. Honestly. There are so many other choices. If it's a skill issue, get some help from other cooks that do it well! There is no reason for this. I honestly hope I don't get...
