Book Freya Beauty for all your hair and make-up needs! Shayla is amazing! We had our wedding day on December 5, 2020 in Derry, NH. We live on the Northshore in Massachusetts so finding a salon to deliver on our hair and make-up without the added astronomical pricing of travel was proving to be tough. We explored different options for hair and make-up; meeting with the owners, stepping into and quickly out of salons that were not up to par with what we were looking for.

We felt defeated until we took a chance and randomly stopped into Shayla’s salon - Freya Beauty. We were INSTANTLY sold. The space was bright, open, clean, and beautiful. Shayla was working with a client and when we inquired about weddings she was attentive to both us and her client providing a small overview and confirming her availability for our day and future communication to come through email.

Everything was simple - booking, confirming, and sharing the details of our day. Leading up to our wedding day, we had a mini booking with myself and bridesmaids to get dazzled ahead of my bridal shower. She did a great job with our trial make-up and hair - it was the perfect excitement for how beautiful we’d be for the big day!

Shayla and Allison (our make-up artist) arrived at Birch Wood Vineyards prior to our arrival, setup in the bridal suite, and were waiting to beautify us for the day. It was amazing. Not only did they take everyone’s vision and make it come to life, but they were so much fun - chatting, laughing, and singing along with us. Shayla gave me the perfect “snow princess” look for our snowy winter wedding - including a quick fix to my veil with needle and thread - she’s THAT accommodating and talented. Shayla is beyond amazing!! I started looking for hair and makeup for my wedding 1 year prior to my wedding June 2, 2018. Shayla had everything I was looking for, she traveled to wedding locations, she did air brush make up and did hair! Couldn't get much easier than that! Over the last year Shayla has done many things for me. First she came to my home and did our engagement shoot makeup and hair. This had me hooked! It was SO hot the day of our pictures, my makeup stayed flawless throughout the whole shoot, and the pictures came out amazing!! Next we went to visit the beautiful salon Shayla and Freya Beauty work out of. Shayla then gave me highlights that I have had nothing but wonderful comments on! Shayla provided a wedding day hair and makeup trial. Again I felt 100% confident in my choice to have Shayla do our wedding hair and makeup. Over the past year Shayla has been my hairdresser, and now friend. I wouldn't put the responsibility of hair and makeup into anyone else's hands! The Wedding day went off without a single problem. She came to my hotel room, worked around the mayhem of getting ready for a wedding and did an amazing job!!! Again compliments of how wonderful my hair and makeup was is all I heard all day.
