Rude, obnoxious, didn't want to return a jacket that I just bought the day before and wasn't worn. The sleeves were too long, and it couldn't be altered by the time I needed to wear it, so I simply just wanted to return it. I paid cash, no problem no big deal. Less than 24 hours later when I realized it wasn't going to work for what I needed it for they didn't want to return it. It still had all the original tags, in the same bag they gave it to me in.
They didn't want to return it at all, that wasn't going to fly. So instead of giving me my money back Lori (I think her name was) the piglet decided that I was going to have to have a check mailed to me from corporate.
I asked why I couldn't get refunded in cash she said it wasn't an option. They didn't have enough money on hand for that, I asked if I should just come back later after she had time to generate some sales and have the cash on hand. She said she no, it didn't make any difference. I asked if she could return it on my debit card, she informed me that since I paid in cash she couldn't do that either. I informed her that since I paid in cash that I would like my refund the same way(just like her not being able to put it on my debit card). She told me that I could take my jacket and leave, this is when things got heated.
I am a professor at a local 4 year university and have heard horror stories from students before but never had any situations personally before today. I will no longer be recommending this place to my associates, students, friends, family, or other potential customers. I asked for the district managers name, she said she would give it to me if this becomes an issue. I explained to her this was an issue, and would like his name. She said his name was Don. She wouldn't give me any more of Dons info.
It's not the fact of the money, $300 isn't going to break me, I am not going hungry over it. It's the way they went about it and treated a (used to be loyal) customer.
You can believe Don will be receiving a letter from me concerning this matter.
If you like good custom service, square business transactions, and not to be attempted to be bullied - stay far, far, away from doing business with this place.
Now I will, sit here and stew on this until my check shows up and I offer to take Don to lunch after the fact.
1/13/24 - it has been one week and they still haven't sent me my refund check after taking my money and refusing to back me back in the same form of payment as I paid.
1/17/24 - finally received my refund. 12 days later... This is the customer service you can expect...
Read moreDealing with buying custom suits from here has been a nightmare, not once did they say it was possible to run out of material when making the decision to go custom suits for a wedding. Well they did, had to change the suit color on the fly. They did get that fixed, which is why I am going with two stars instead of one. After I got the new suit in I assumed the line they put on the pants to mark it for hemming represented something of importance to the tailor, it didn’t. I should have known the tailor did not understand what he was doing when I first went in the store and saw someone try on a tux that more closely resembled capris. Praise the sweet lord Jesus my wife was not an immature bridezilla because our photos are going to look epic with different color suits...
Read moreThe customer service was beyond horrid. I walked in the store , two salesman stood there, didn't say a word to me.....Finally, I said "Hello", then went on to buy a suit coat, and pair of pants. Both had to be brought from other stores....Wrong pants arrived...but I went with them anyway, because again, it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to actually talk with me. I paid 100 dollars for the pants, and after paying for them to be altered....they came back with the length not touched....SO....I will take them to a tailor to be actually altered.....My 12 bucks to Jo Banks is a donation, I guess. I will NEVER, EVER set foot in this store again. And will tell anyone that I can....to avoid...
