My experience working at Pink Diamond was completely abnormal. Initially when I started I was told for 50% of my profit, I would receive promotion and plenty other things that may seem appealing to service providers and the only thing I received was giving someone 50% of the money I made. Katrina is very unprofessional and tends to try and argue back and forth when told how her actions and failures become and inconsistent to her workers.

Upon start, there was no air on the second floor and I was inconvenienced multiple times with clients and this problem proceeded after about a month of working there. She came up with too many excuses as to why the air wasn’t fixed because she hired someone’s uncle instead of an actual company to fix the air. The air was not fixed until I had a client who came for a silk press and left with a fro by the time I was finished. I had to discount this young ladies service and because Katrina didn’t receive full payment, she then made the air problem a priority.

She doesn’t provide anything and I had to purchase a fan and other objects that I shouldn’t have had to especially giving someone half of my earnings. Katrina never arrives on time when there’s early appointments, my client appointment was at 8 and Katrina didn’t arrive until 9:30 to open the building and she was made aware of the early appointment and still arrived an hour plus late.

She then uses your suite and products for her own personal gain and does not clean up after herself when she’s finished. Every time I went into my suite, Katrina’s hair, nails, liquor filled glasses were left behind. She comes in and just leaves her things as if it is not someone’s work environment. Building is also a safety hazard with plugs and light switches without covers on them.

Lastly, she decides to make up her own prices for your services and does not correctly pay when it’s time to pay out. I contacted her in regards to my final payment and instead of looking into the situation, she stated excuses and offered to pay me $7.50 out of $65 ($170 worth of services) when I provided a full service to each client.

I have also contacted Department of Labor in regards to this matter and although it was only $65, that’s a lot to lose when you have to work in unhealthy conditions.

Not to mention she’s very unprofessional. She created time slots for meetings and arrives late and...

I came from out of town a hour and a half drive to get my hair done. I had made a appt a week in advance and text the lady who was going to do my hair and let her know that I was in the highway on my way. She said ok I get there she is starting a clients hair so I had to wait 2 hours. Ok it’s 2 now she is getting ready to wash my hair guess what there is no water on in the whole building. Can’t use the bathroom or wash your hands. I’m like really can’t be serious this is a beauty salon WOW!! That’s not even the worst part the worst part the beautician is now calling her homegirls that I don’t know, never met, don’t know their work don’t even know if they are licensed.She is calling them asking if they can do my hair. I’m smh and ask her are you trying to find someone else to do my hair? I can all this way for you to do it. She don’t say nothing. Then she says I have to leave to go pick up my kids? I’ll be back in a hour and a half. So now I’m really looking crazy at her like she can’t be serious. I say so your leaving what am I suppose to do for a hour and a half sit in the parking lot? I’m not from here I don’t know anyone here. She said well I don’t know what to tell you and you have yo leave the building because no one else is in here and I have to lock up the building. So now at this point I’m pissed off �. Luckily I found a very nice professional beauty shop not to far from this you unprofessional hood beauty salon. The beautician did a great job and I will he going back to her. I will never ever go back to this Pink Dump ever again. What a day and trip wasted for nothing. I don't know where to start. I've been here twice so far and both experiences where a true blessing. The first was a mommy daughter treatment for my two daughters (ages 13 and 5) and myself. The experience was tailored to us and amazing. The second I returned to have my hair done again. Not only do I love the style, but I enjoy my time in the chair. Katrina is such a sweet person and she truly has a passion for what she does. The customer service is impeccable and I have never had an experience like the ones I have when I walk through those doors. I can describe Pink Diamond Beauty Mall as a well-needed local getaway for women to relax, bond, and boost their confidence and self-esteem. The inside is really beautiful and you feel spoiled as soon as you enter. The vibes are really good with r&b playing in the background. You don't have to worry about anything while you're there.
