I recently visited Detroit-Sip located on McNichols in Detroit, MI, and had a very pleasant experience. The owner impressed me with her kindness, offering me a coffee to go instead of discarding what was left over. Her approach was not just hospitable but also environmentally considerate.

The coffee house boasts a spacious and sunlit interior, providing ample seating which creates a comfortable atmosphere for both individual visitors and groups. The overall ambiance is welcoming and conducive to spending quality time over a good cup of coffee.

What I particularly appreciated was the owner's willingness to engage in conversation, introducing herself by name and making an effort to connect with customers. This personal touch adds to the community feel of the place.

I cannot believe it took me so long to discover this not-so-hidden jewel, which is only minutes away from my home. My husband and I ditched our normal Saturday brunch to drop in on Detroit Sip. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Detroit Sip's vibe is like a warm, neighborly hug. The decor is whimsical and inviting.
