This place was fun. I'm glad we took a ride share, as parking is pretty non existent unless you're parking in the subdivision, and it's real easy to get tipsy up in there while painting. The paint parties are fair priced. Ours included alcoholic beverages, food, and all of our painting supplies, and more! We were also able to bring our own beer & wine, and 420. the place was packed, the instructors were friendly and gave good verbal instructions. The only thing that was a little tough is the room is kind of split so if you sit near the front door, you can't see the instructors. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE I'VE EVER BEEN IN DETROIT OR ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER. EVERY TIME I GO THE VIBES ARE ALWAYS AWESOME. GREAT FOOD, VERY COOL ART PROJECTS. THE CRAFT CAFE COCKTAIL IS A MUST TRY. THE FACT THAT THEIR IS WEEKLY EVENTS OR YOU CAN HOST YOUR OWN EVENT. ITS REASONABLE PRICED. A SAFE ENVIRONMENT. The Craft Cafe is an excellent local business in Detroit, they host an array of events (for families/kids and adults) but they specialize in "paint parties", where anyone of any artistic skill (or not) can come and for a modest cost, create their own 9 x 12 painting (canvas and tools/paint included in event fee). Basic snacks and punch are provided at events, but you are welcome to BYOB.
