Sedano's Supermarkets — Local services in Doral

The sandwiches are good and they have reasonable prices, today's visit is the reason for my review. I may not speak much Spanish but I can order food. I requested a ham and cheese sandwich on a croissant to which the people that work there always understand me and they grab a croissant from the display and make the sandwich ... Today the Alina tells me nope we don't do that, to which I responded with there are croissants right there, I've ordered this before and they always gladly make it for me, she said.. In Spanish those aren't for making sandwiches ... So the many times I've come here for lunch all the other women who have helped me were going against their policy where they can not make a sandwich with a croissant. Now keep in mind I was the only customer waiting. Then I had 3 small items to pay for from the store , which the ladies there have always been happy to ring me up instead of having to go wait in line. She said no to that, I had to go wait in line at the registers. The fact that there was no greeting and she wasn't polite and the fact that it seemed like me placing a sandwich order was a burden was at the bottom of list as to why my experience today was negative. It was the complete lack of service that made me feel discriminated bc I didn't speak Spanish so fluently and bc I was placing in order that required more work than just...

Very few people working in this store speak English, not even the department manager!! When questioned if she could speak English she said she speak her own language!!!! Its the second time that i noticed they have Tostidos on the shelf for discounted price and when go to the check out they charge regular price, on my complain, the manager that speak only Spanish said that those were selling on regular price. I showed then the shelf and in Spanish that I couldn't understand she said that the price was regular and not on discount (even if on the shelf is only the discounted price). I refused to purchase the product, and I noticed that the manager did not go to take those products out the shelf with the discounted price. So I think they are tricking costumers to get the product thinking to get a good price and then on the check out charge the regular price. BAD FALSE ADVERTISING, IF THIS PEOPLE DON'T KNOW IT IS AGAINST...

Went to this Sedanos shortly after having wrist surgery. As I am trying to pay at the register, I place my bag on the shopping cart (on the area where small child sits). All items were already scanned, therefore I felt ok putting my purse there, as I only had one hand. The grocery bagger proceeded to lean all the way over the shopping cart (from one end to the other) and looked inside my personal purse which was open and far away from him. And no, it was not a shopping bag nor did it look like one.

This was definitely racial profiling & completely degrading. Worst part about it was that I was in so much physical pain, I didn't even have a voice to defend myself that day.
