I’ve been to this salon several times in the past and always had a positive experience. The stylists they hire provide excellent customer service, and I’ve been very satisfied with the retwist and styling services for my locs. The stylist I had yesterday was a sweetheart. Unfortunately, my experience with a new service I tried, extended loc two strand twist —was extremely disappointing. Here are the key issues: 1. The extensions are not seamless. My real locs are sticking out visibly from the extensions, which looks unpolished and unnatural. 2. The extensions are inconsistently sized—skinny at the top and bulky at the bottom, which makes them appear poorly done. 3. Despite providing feedback during the service and sharing examples of what I was looking for, my concerns were not addressed. I contacted the salon's customer service inbox to share my dissatisfaction, but the responses I received were rude, dismissive, and lacked any resolution-focused approach. Rather than working toward a solution (such as offering to take the extensions out and style my natural locs or redo the extensions) they placed the blame on me as the client, citing the sample pictures I provided as ā€œunrealistic expectations.ā€ An experienced stylist should understand that photos serve as examples, not a rigid template. I shared two pictures to illustrate the length and seamlessness I anticipated from the service. I expected that the extensions would be consistent in size and appearance. Then, someone on their staff changed my appointment to a loc Bob. I didn’t know this until I got to the salon. My hair is a little past shoulder length and I would have no need to book extensions to achieve a Bob. The individual whom I was emailing, also cited that my locs were too thick. If this service could not be performed properly over my existing locs, I should have been informed upfront. I would have opted for a different style had I been given the option. Instead, I was left with a service that cost $200, is below professional standards, and their only resolution offered was to take it down myself. I’ve driven over 45 minutes to this shop on multiple occasions because of the good service I’ve received in the past. However, this experience shows a lack of accountability and professionalism on the part of the salon's management. I’m disappointed in how they handled my concerns.

Where do I begin with how great the service is, the communication, the cleanliness of the shop, and the personalities of the ladies that work there. Lol I am notorious for hating getting my hair done, but these ladies have changed my mind and cared for my hair with me being the priority, thats beyond important. First, I will say setting an appointment was very easy they were available to answer the phone in the salon, so I was able to ask questions that I had prior to setting an appointment just to make sure. I actually had to cxl the appt and move it to a later date which was great. Jenai (idk if it spelled it right) was my stylist and made sure I got reminders for the appt. Got there and they were ready, no wait. Took their time caring for my locs even tho i was getting a closure sew in. I love that I can come to a salon where I can get my natural hair taken care of and switch it up as well. The time slots were true , i didnt stay too long past my appt time and i wanted to add color last minute and they were more than accommodating. The salon is so cute and you dont have to bring anything but your head lol they have snacks,refreshments, great music and of course good gossip. Haha but once the service was going i was asked if i needed anything and the owner came in was so professional. I loved my hair so much scheduled in another appointment to get a wash and style for my sewin, everything came out so great they spent their time caring for your hair and I love the appointment process and how quick it was to get in and out on a weekend. So with this being said the stylist, the salon and the owner get 5 stars! But babyyyy the front desk is everything, Shes professional and funny, plus make sure you good throughout your appt. All in all , I would recommend any stylist here . They're all great at locs and styles , plus the atmosphere is top tier. Atlanta has so many salons but you wont be wrong to switch over here . Also this is two appts in so theyre consistent and on point , all love to Hair In Peace! So glad i found this shop šŸ™šŸ½

This service has been listed on their site for the last several months because I’ve been checking for an open appointment. They never accepted accountability for misleading booking service nor handled customer service properly. She ignored me once I advised how let down I was because I’ve been waiting months thinking there offered the service that was listed on their site. Once I decided to not move forward with my appt, they went to the booking site to take off the triangle parts. Never once apologized to me that the service was no longer offered and the site was not updated. They never announced the service was no longer available nor offer me any type of accommodation for the inconvenience. This all happened just two 2 before my scheduled appt and not to mention I had to reach out to them in order to remind about not receiving correspondence for my consultation. Just a full let down when I adored their work and literally waited months for an open appointment. I was never rude nor unmoral in any way when speaking to them so I feel I shouldn’t have to be Ignored for their mistake.
