I'm really sad about my visit today. I've been going to smoothie king about two years and I get the same two smoothies: The Slim and Trim Veggie (sup the pineapple/apple juice and mango for oatmilk and almond butter) and The Shredder Chocolate (add oatmilk and almond butter). I've never had an issue. For this location in particular, I started going in early march and have ordered both (via online pick up) no issues. Today I did an online order for the slim and trim veggie and it came out icy and chunky. I couldn't get it down (trust me I tried). The team was really nice and remade it but unfortunately it was the same. They noted that when they made it, the saw the consistency was off and even tried to fix it. After that, I told them I would get something different. I waited an hour to be helped again and then was told to talk to the manager (I'm assuming he was the manager since I was directed to him). I will say, he is typically very nice and amazed me with his hospitality the first time I went to this store. However, when I went to him he seemed frustrated and alluded to me wasting inventory with trying to get my smoothie fixed. I didn't think that was fair to say since it wasn't my fault. I was already racked with anxiety as I HATEE having to ask for a remake when I have an order issue. He did agree to let me get a different smoothie. I opted to get my other go to, the shredder chocolate, which for some reason isn't on their menu but is listed online as an option for pick up with that store. I had it made and had the same issue (added photo for reference). Idk if it was a bad day for them or if they used too much ice/had a blender issue but I ended up just tossing the smoothie when I got home. I'll admit I was too embarrassed to walk in there again and ask for a refund as I can tell I caused a little frustration with the manager so I just chalked it as a loss. I hate that I wasted my money and time in there to not enjoy my smoothie as I usually do. As much as I would love to continue going to that store since its walking distance from where I workout, I don't...
Read moreI went to this Smoothie King this morning, which I have had several great experiences at this location in the past. I have stopped going to other Smoothie King’s due to inconsistencies with the shakes or just overall dirty locations and terrible staff. Once this location opened, I was very excited. The younger girl that wears glasses knows me by name and is always so pleasant and has made my shake perfectly. Today there were two new people there and I had placed my order at 10:03 AM for a 1017 pick up This is the first Time in a while that my shake wasn’t ready when I walked in after the pick up time. The lady making shakes seemed very overwhelmed with a lot of tickets, and eventually, when another lady with glasses came out, who asked if she needed help did start to help her by grabbing my ticket, but then proceeded to help someone who just walked in (and took her order) instead of following through with my order. After the Lady with the glasses started on my order I was asked my name three times and what kind of shake I had and if I knew what kind of chocolate goes in it. I didn’t leave the store until after 10:40 AM and I was extremely frustrated. There seems to be some training that needs to happen here. I am a regular here and when I come here, these $8+ shakes are a vital first meal start to my day. I ended up throwing the shake away as it tasted powdery and with...
Read moreMe and my family comes here at least 4 days a week and each time we order 3 of the same drinks. Customer service is usually pretty well but the other day the associate who made our drinks did not make one of them correctly. When we asked that she remake it she refused and said we should have checked our receipt.
The issue we have is that we are known at this location and we buy 3 drinks each time along with energy shots. Instead of turning us away and not remaking our drinks the better option to keep us as loyal customers would have been to remake the drink. Now we refuse to return to...
