Home Depot Tilly Mill store customer no service. I ordered an item on the Home Depot website on the afternoon of July 4th. The item could be shipped to a store so I selected Tilly Mill. Received an HD email order confirmation 7/4 5:44pm with the correct price. 7/9 4:47pm received an HD email confirming my order on the way to the Tilly Mill store and expected to arrive there by 7/11 and will send a notice to pick up when ready. 7/10 HD charged my credit card account the correct full price. 7/10 3:31pm received an HD email my order is ready for pick up in Tilly Mill store and available until 7/17 and pick up at customer no service desk. 7/11/11:55am arrive at Tilly Mill customer no service address to pick up my order. Display my phone with pick up message and bar code. Customer no service rep scans my phone and says that my order has been canceled. I ask by who, he says apparently HD but can't be sure. While standing there I receive an HD email 12:00pm stating my order has been canceled. I asked the rep to check the secure shelf where the pick up orders are stored and there is my item, with my name on it, ready to pick up. I said great, let me have it and we are done. But no, no service says they have refunded my money so I will need to pay for it again. I check my credit union account live and there in no refund. No service says because it is a canceled on-line order it can take up to 30 days for the refund. So I say, clearly it has not been refunded to me so I am not paying twice. I ask for the manager but Papa is too busy so he sends an customer no service supervisor. After acting important for a bit and telling me to calm down no service supervisor tells me the same story. So I say, there are two choices I will accept as the customer, take the item and leave or refund my money right now before I leave without the item. No service supervisor tells me that it doesn't work that way even though HD apparently canceled my order without my authorization after they received my payment. No service supervisor is not interested in what the 70 year old customer wants, he is only interested in telling me what I will get from him and HD in the form of no service and if I don't like it, it does not matter as he represents HD policy and I should be calm and grateful. Shopped in HD for nearly 40 years in ATL even back when they only had a few locations. It does not mean a damn thing today. Please consider this when you think about shopping at Home Depot next time. They are not interested in satisfying the customer. I know you will see me at any of the stores again. That is all we have left to let them know their customer no service is...

Well I put the first one in, then started on the second one. It jammed and came up as critical error. I waited for the attendant. She was an older Indian lady. I did not catch her name. She finally came over. I explained what happened. She didnāt fully listen to me, cleared the transaction off so that I could move to another till. So my receipt was gone, and the total that I had already paid was gone. When I realized she cleared it off I brought it to her attention that I already paid some. She again either didnt listen to me, Or didnāt understand what I was saying. She said āIf you pay then show me your receiptā, we went back and forth a few times on that same sentence. She asked me for proof that I paid, in a now agitated, accusatory tone. I finally pulled the two empty quarter rolls out of my pocket and then explained to her that I paid a portion of it, AND THEN she finally listened to me. It was incredibly agitating and embarrassing that sheās trying to say Iām taking advantage of the situation and get out of paying, and everybody around is now looking at us. Her response was ā well if the boy who clears the coins out was here I could open it up, but heās not. Soā¦ā thankfully as she said that another guy came up, asked what the problem was, understood the situation. And with a visible attitude and slight annoyance in hi voice said āhow much did you pay?ā I told him I think it said around $10. I counted the quarters in my hand and confirmed it accepted $10.25. He rolled his eyes at the annoying fact that they have to make one of their mistakes right. So he threw the quarter and $10 into the machine and turned back around. I wouldnāt even be upset if it wasnāt for him being annoyed that he had to fix the problem, her basically saying she didnāt feel like getting someone to open the drawer, and her accusing me of trying to get out of paying because she didnāt listen to me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy father placed an order for delivery on Monday, April 1st, and, before he place the order, received confirmation from the lady at the counter that the delivery would be Tuesday the next day. Come Tuesday 5pm, the order had not yet be delivered. We are only 7 min away from the store but the order is large so where are our items? I had to call them and was transferred to 5 different people and put on hold 7 times for a total of 40 min. Only 4 of those minutes were actually spent talking to someone. The only explanation I received was that someone had cancelled the delivery and moved it to Thursday which was definitely not my father nor me. I received no apologies from any of the first 4 people and only the guy in deliveries was somewhat apologetic but could not reschedule. We had already hired people to be ready on Wednesday to use the items we bought. Today is Thursday, I called to see when the items will be delivered. I called and Iām told that it will arrive at noon to 1 pm. But to call after 4pm if they do not arrive. Does that make sense? You give me an ETA but tell me not to call and complain until 3 hours after the fact? This was a different guy in deliveries who told me this and was not at all caring. He was in fact really eager to hang up on me. This is absurdities at such an unreasonable level. I recommend not using this Home Depot and to visit a different branch. Yes we placed the order on April First but this far exceeds the acceptable...
