I brought my son's ps 5 to them on 6/27/24 at the dothan store ,because of a power supply problem, This was a brand new game system he got for Christmas. I even brought the new part to them. We told them their was a game in the drive. I paid 100.00. They asked me to bring the controller. I took it to them on the 29th. They said the system was fixed. So i brought it home. On the way home we realized they didn't give us the game. When we got home my son tried to put a game in. It wouldn't take it, we then did a manual eject. Then tried to put another game in. It still wouldn't take it, and was making a loud clicking noise. There was nothing wrong with the drive before we took it to them. We called them back,and had to take it right back up there. The tech called another tech at the other store, he told him how to fix it. 2 minutes later he said it was fixed. We got home and it done the same thing. Mind you this was the 2nd trip to them in 1 day. We took the back cover off to see if a wire could of been pinched or not connected correctly. The wire was fine. But we saw that the tech had stripped out one of the screw heads that holds the drive in place. And now I've got to take it to another repair place, and put out more money to fix what they messed up. Fair warning don't take any electronics to them. In my opinion they should pay to have it fixed by someone else, or refund all my money I've lost due to their negligence. I'm not a happy satisfied customer at all. Trust me don't take anything to them to repair. If I could give them a negative 5 review I would but that's not possible. I brought in an Xbox controller in October 2024 to have a button repaired and to install Hall effect thumbsticks. I paid $100 up front for the “diagnostic fee”.
Months went by and I hadn’t received any update on the repair. Every few weeks I would either call or stop by to check on the status of the controller. Each time wielded a new excuse. “Oh we’re still waiting on the part. Oh we’re working on it now. Oh the part got sent to the wrong store. Oh the guy that used to work here got fired and we’re behind. Oh we’re still waiting on the part (again)”. This went on for SIX MONTHS. They never called me, never updated me without me having to initiate the conversation. I was polite and understanding during every interaction with them, but I felt that I was being lied to the whole time.
Finally, in late March 2025 (remember, I dropped off the controller in October 2024) I called them and was told the controller was ready for pickup. Why they didn’t call me first, I have no idea.
The Hall effect thumbsticks were never installed. There is now a rattling sound inside the controller, indicating there is a piece broken off inside. And, of course, they do not offer refunds at all. Not even a, “sorry for the lengthy repair, thanks for your patience” or anything to that effect.
So, in conclusion, I paid $100 to have my controller sit on their shelf for six (6) months and be returned to me in worse shape than it was in when I dropped it off.
DO NOT take your business here. They take your money up front, they don’t perform repairs, and they don’t offer refunds....

So i took it to get fixed by this guy in dothan and he asked what was wrong with it and just like i mentioned above i was just getting the screen replaced. Before even looking at it he tried to persuade me into paying for the diagnosis “just in case” . I asked him why an he continued by saying “you never know with these phones” . He also swore that if i didnt pay for the diagnosis and he just fix the screen, that if it messed up again itll be on me,, he kept repeating that “it could be a popped wire” or “popped LED” which is a different problem and more . Long story short i end up paying for the diagnosis and screen repair , and in an hr he gave me the phone back and not even a week later the LEDS popped and The phone gets black screen . It seems as if he did this on purpose because i looked younger to him but this isnt right . Again he insisted that something else was wrong with my phone when its brand new and never ever had a problem and then the problem he warned me about which is why i paid the diagnosis is now happening to my phone . Ps the phone was dropped from pocket height, he also said that i should pay because phone take “hard impacts”.
