At 9:34 p.m. I went through the drive through. There was only one other car in front of me waiting for their food. I proceeded to the drive through I ordered my food I asked for a chicken Philly combo no tomatoes, extra mayo with a large peach lemonade to drink. I received my food I drove home got comfortable just to open my Philly container and be met with a beef philly poorly made. I DON’T EVEN EAT BEEF!!!! Me and my boyfriend called the store multiple times with NO ANSWER so we proceeded to drive all the way back around the circle to Charley’s only too see that the drive through was closed but I got there at 10:24 and they don’t close till 11:00 p.m. After being ignored I had to honk my horn multiple times for someone to finally come to the window and acknowledge me. The man asked how could he help me I told him that I ordered a chicken Philly and received a beef one and I had my receipt and the food as proof. He asked to see both he didn’t even look at either he told me multiple times that he will make fresh tomorrow I then tell him I just want to my money back he says the manager has closed the drawer and repeated once again he will make fresh for me tomorrow. He then hands me the bag and tells me have a goodnight and repeats yet again he will make fresh for me tomorrow. I find this very disrespectful, disgusting, and aggravating. We went a couple days after they opened so they were still very busy from the grand opening excitement. The number they gave us was a ways off from the numbers they were currently calling out, so I knew it would be a while before ours would be called. Anticipating the 1-yr old would be too impatient, I drove him and the wife home really quick. When I got back, our number had already been called. That was understandable. When I went up to ask for it, the manager got mad at me for not being ready when my number was called. I get that it was an odd situation, and a little weird that I left and came back, but he was much more hostile than the situation called for and practically demanded a reason before he gave me my food. Read moreI visited this restaurant yesterday and shared my experience with a friend, who suggested I write a review, so here I am.
When I arrived, I asked the man at the counter about the size of the bread. He kindly explained it in inch, but since I couldn’t really picture it, I asked if I could see an example. He was very nice and actually showed me a sample of the regular-sized bread.
But then, out of nowhere, a woman, also working at the counter, came and said that the bread shouldn’t be shown to customers. I honestly don’t understand what her problem was. Thankfully, the man stayed calm and reassured me that it was okay.
He was really polite and helpful, and the food was decent too. I even forgot to bring my money, but he patiently waited while I went back to get it.
All in all, great service from the male staff member. I just hope the woman learns a bit about...
