Initially I would like to note that I do not write reviews on the regularly nor complain about small businesses and situations, but in my opinion the staff at this place was surprisingly rude for no apparent reason, the Gentleman who I’m assuming owns the place disrespects customers as if they coming to the store for free without buying any services.
As someone who works with customers on the daily I believe respect goes both ways, and I definitely did not receive the same respect I was giving. There are many ski places to rent from, competition is already high. Being nice to customers is free/ does not cost anything and might even get your more customers in the long run! so I highly suggest that Customers are treated better, there is no place for this negative behavior in a location where families come to relax, ski and be together. As noted from previous bad reviews it appears that he uses the same tone as in person when answering to reviews online. Hope this new 2021 brings more happiness to this location and his owner!
UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE: your own employee and your wife were not wearing a mask you troll. The people in front of me were not wearing a mask again you liar. Go take ur anger out at the mountains skiing not with me. I reported you to Vermont police x2 and my friends did so again for your violations. Act dumb and win dumb games mirek.
PS. you deserved the bad review like the rest of the bad ones you have for a reason. its all a gift of your personality. Now there's a "WINNER". if you like fighting with people you should have became a lawyer instead of selling ski rentals but I guess you are incapable of doing a lot of things.

   Read moreSo my snowboard binding was broken. Store blamed me, accused me breaking the binding, when the issue was a screw or connection came undone internally.
I called 8+ times from 11am -2:30pm (as directed - they told me to call if any issues arose, said someone would come to the mountain to remedy the issue), left 3 messages to no avail.
No one called back.
No one came to help.
Instead, the few days I’m able to take PTO went to waste with a ski lift ticket purchased - unused.
Going back to being blamed for the issue…I asked for refund - as anyone would have. It was a reasonable request.
They said NO!
The owner is the only one that can refund and he was not in.
So I was given a free rental pass…and left to wonder - why would I even go back?
Will work with my credit card company to remedy the denial of services that I paid for in good faith.
Plenty of snowboarding/ski rentals to choose from!
Beware - if you happen to go there during off peak days - be prepared to get zero customer service in the event...
   Read moreCame here with some friends after we asked at the Base lodge for where to rent for my friends and was utterly confused with the behavior of the employee? or owner. There were 4 people in front of us who were returning their equipment and were asking the man where to drop them off and he looked and completely disregarded them and turned his back as he was mocking another individual who asked a ski-related question (and obviously she had not skied before so had no knowledge in that area) we were all confused and looked at each-other in a way as the way he was responding was not normal. Went back to the lodge and shared my experience. In any case, I read recent reviews and noticed people with similar experiences and negative attacking comments by who I am now assuming is the owner. Truly a shame since the equipment looked pretty good. We ended up leaving and going down the street without renting from this location.
