Absolutely infuriating experience. Took my iPhone SE in because the home button stopped working. The employee told us she'd need to disassemble the phone to diagnose the issue — $60 just for that. Fine. We paid, she got started right away. Ten minutes later, she comes back and says the issue can’t be fixed. Our only options? Either replace the whole screen for $210 or swap out the phone entirely for $179 — with the $60 diagnosis fee applied to that. We chose the replacement phone. She heads to the back, grabs the “new” phone, and immediately starts transferring data and swapping SIM cards. Here’s where the circus really begins. The “new” phone needed a software update before the transfer could finish — “just a few minutes,” she said. That turned into an hour and a half of sitting around while nothing happened. Halfway through that wait, she casually drops that there’s also a $30 data transfer fee — something she “forgot to mention” because she’s new and still learning. Seriously? At this point, we’re too far in to back out. Eventually, she tells us the update is “almost done,” but oops! — she has to leave for lunch. Her coworker will “take over.” Lovely. The second employee steps in, and just as he's about to hand us the phone, a warning message pops up: The battery in this phone is not genuine. It’s an aftermarket battery. (Photo of the message is anttached). Excuse me?? We point it out, and the guy looks like a deer in headlights before quietly disappearing to consult the manager. He returns and says we can either take the sketchy phone as-is or take our old phone back. No apology. No accountability. No effort to make it right. After wasting nearly two hours, we demanded our old phone back, a full refund, and that the “new” phone be wiped of our data. What a complete joke. The entire staff came off as shady, unprofessional, and totally unprepared to handle even basic customer service. Never again. Avoid this place like the plague.

Called at 4:15pm and got to shop at 5pm. They fixed my phone and my sister's phone. Very courteous and quick. Didn't try to break my bank. Good people. Will definitely recommend and return as a customer. Update: December 27, 2021. I took my daughters phone here to get iPhone ear piece cleaned. I left it approximately 3 1/2 hrs. When I returned the lady rep told me she dropped my daughter’s phone and cracked screen and they replaced it. I really had confidence in these people. I simply said ok paid her for what she done. I picked up phone and once I handed it to my 9yr old daughter she said mama look what happened to my phone. I immediately got back out of truck and reentered the store. The lady rep said I’ll be with you. The manager came from back within 3 or 4 mins. Asked if he could help me. I showed him my phone and he then lied to my face and told me the phone was already like that. Him and the lady rep lied to me and wouldn’t make it right. I will never step foot back into that establishment. If you choose to do business here, take a picture of your phone and you and rep look it over together. I was so outdone at how this was handled. I hope they can’t sleep until they make this right. Because I’m not going to lie to you and I don’t expect you to lie to me. It won’t get you any where.

I had a new iPhone battery installed 8-ish months ago. Immediately after getting it back, the screen started to flicker to inverted or negative colors that would usually clear after locking/unlocking it a couple of times. Finally, It went negative and wouldn’t revert back. So I went back to CPR to get it fixed. Ended up having to pay for a new screen even though it was his error.

After the screen replacement, I noticed several functions stopped working the same day it was repaired. These include: the selfie camera, the step counter, the level and compass, and the “Hey Siri” function. When I took it back to him, he looked at it but absolutely refused to admit fault. Even though the step counter stopped on THE SAME DAY he had it - all the settings indicated it should still be counting. He was friendly about it, but still insisted there’s nothing he could have done to mess those functions up.

So I took my phone to Blitz PC and was told he messed up a sensor that they couldn’t fix, and I’d probably have to send it to Apple. I haven’t done that yet because I’m swearing off smart phones after this one anyway.

So I can not FaceTime or Skype my long-distance relatives. I can not use a Fitbit or any fitness tracker. I actually did use the level, but it’s not functional. With the compass not working, Maps doesn’t show the correct direction I’m traveling in, making navigating a little more difficult. And I can’t conveniently start a timer at work just by saying “Hey Siri” when my hands are full.

Oh. And the “new” battery is faulty again after only 8 months.

I will never give CPR my business again and will highly discourage any of my friends and family from going there if they care about their...

I'm from Orlando and was visiting my parents one weekend and I dropped my phone leaving a restaurant. My iPhone 6+ shatters. Devestated I was cause how am I going to get it fixed there's no Apple Store here and I had a very important phone call coming in about my son's results. I end up asking my brother in law (mom doesn't know tech anything) if there was a place around town that he knew of. So he takes me to TechRx and I was skeptical just because I've never went anywhere else to fix a phone than Apple. Once we walked in we were greated with a hello and how may I help you today (from Orlando don't get that a lot) told him what happen then showed him my phone. He explains to me what parts that needed to be replaced and how he does it. (Apple just takes my phone and says be back at this time for pick up.) He then tells me my phone will be ready in a hour. Was shocked. I asked him did you work for Apple before. He laughed said no sir. Just under a hour and phone was complete. Phone was perfect! The new case I bought from them while I waited I still use today. Got my phone call the next day and the results were negative. Turned out to be a great weekend after all. After my experience with TechRx I still use them for the rest of my devices. They have fixed my daughters and wife's iphone and the iPad. Takes a little longer due to the shipping but I trust them completely. Thank you again. Now if you would open one up in Orlando that...
