Update 3/21/2022: Ordered a mini burrito in the App at 11:45 am and it said my order would be ready by 12:00. I headed over and got there about 11:55 and I expected to wait a few minutes. While I was waiting I spoke with two people, one guy had been there over an hour waiting and the lady I spoke with actually left to go get her kids after waiting for almost thirty minutes and got back and her food still took another 12-20 minutes all in all over an hour. At 12:30pm I finally walked out with my food. I suppose I should count myself lucky that it was only 30 minutes past when it was due. The restaurant was not as busy as usual which made ti worse. I know they were understaffed, but at one point there was a lull of about 5-7 minutes where only people who ordered online were waiting and no one was doing food prep.
Update 9/24/2021: Today I ordered the Tacos through the App. I got there a little before they were scheduled to be ready, so I make sure I get it while it is still hot. I had to wait 2-3 minutes for them to finish. I drive back to my office (less than 5 minutes away) and when I open it the Tacos are Ice cold. I don't think they steamed the flour shells before they made them and the Carnitas and black beans were cold...literally cold like they pulled them out of the fridge. I'm dropping my review down a star because lately they haven't been earning their 4 star review.

Read moreFood is great when they get it right. Service has never been that great. Atmosphere would be good if the restaurant was clean. The people working there all seem to be high school aged kids and just aren’t great at costumer service. Can’t even stand at the register long enough to hand me my receipt as soon as they get my payment they run off somewhere. Not to mention I went into Surcheros about an hour before they closed and staff was cleaning everything and emptying out the food containers. I get it you want to get your work done and go home but maybe don’t start getting rid of food until 10 minutes before close. The girl was rude and seemed annoyed that we were even there, they were out of just about everything. Also the girl didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I had came up to order she just continued talking to her coworker. A couple of weeks ago I did mobile order and they didn’t put any meat in my chicken burrito. So I payed for a Surcheros burrito but ended up with a veggie one. When I called there was no manager that could talk and I was told they would call me the following day, never got that phone call. Read moreI live in Huntsville, AL, but travel through Dublin, GA on occasion. On one of these trips, I stopped in the restaurant for a grilled burrito that was excellent, so I looked forward to my return.
Well, today I went in and read the menu board that listed a loaded carnita quesadilla, but above the box was a note that stated that you could pick your choice of pork, grilled chicken or ground beef, and for an extra $2.09 you could select grilled steak. I decided on the special wiyh the grilled steak upcharge. This cause unnecessary confusion with the entire staff, all of whom admitted to not having read the board. Ironically, not one went to read what I read, and even the manager didn't know what it said, and dismissed my concerns that the posted special wasn't being honored, the only missing component being a drink.
Needless to say, my disappointment runs deep not because the food isn't delicious, but because the service on this day was lacking. The solution would have been simple...READ THE BOARD. But since even the manager decided it was easier to dismiss my concern, I will never return.
They won't miss me, of course, but my recommendation won't be forthcoming either.
