Krystal — Restaurant in Dublin

Update: 03/26/2024 "Open late, because hunger doesn't have a bedtime?" Yet you turn off lights and lock doors at 7:41p. Worst restaurant in town hands down. Does owner and management dislike money? I'm afraid Steak n Shake 2.0 has firmly arrived. The food was at least a 5 out of 10.

Old: 8:23p on a Wednesday night you have the dining room door locked. It takes me grabbing the door for a girl standing three feet from it to come to it to tell me, “we closed the dining room at 8 tonight.” The same door says 10p. Another guy just “chillin” on one of the booths doing nothing. 4 or 5 people in the back acting a fool. Really wanted this place to last, but unless service changes it won’t be here in a year. Stop using Covid as an excuse to close or open when you please. Don’t want this to be Steak ‘n Shake 2.0. I really really want this place to last. Editing for clarity. The last time I ordered wings, I got chicken sandwiches instead. My receipt showed I had ordered wings but I was too far down the road and running a little late to turn around. The sandwiches were ok, but that hot Mayonnaise was a hot mess. It would be better plain with the option of mayo packets. So, 3 stars for the service. The place was clean, so I'll change that to 4 stars. No offense, but 4 stars is good for Krystal burgers. It's not 5-star, high class fare. Keep doing the good stuff the right way. Honestly, I rarely eat fast food anymore. I have been making the effort to find healthier options, but I was working on a project and was in town for parts. The temperature was in the high 90s, and I was in my truck that day with no a/c. I was thirsty and a little hungry, so when I noticed the Krystal was busy for inside dining, I pulled in. I also don't normally eat out alone, saving that experience and expense for socializing and sharing a meal with others. I did enjoy my meal at the Dublin Krystal very much.
