I called the store to see if they had a particular scope ring in stock, the representative said yes they did. Great! The next day I drove to purchase them (the next county over from mine) 50 miles from my door. When I arrived at the shop, I am going to assume I was met by the own or Manger, told him what I was looking for, he asked as I had NO idea what I was talking about and stated the manufacturer doesn't make that type of scope ring. After looking it up on the computer he still questioned my knowledge (I showed him phone of the manufacturer website with stock #) he asked counter employee. After a long back and forth he said he could order the item and pick it up after Wednesday. I wasn't making another trip. So he said they would mail it to me. I paid and left. I realized on my drive home we didn't talk about the finish of the rings, so looked online and found the rings cheaper and would be delivered the NEXT day to my house so ordered it and called the store. I was told there would be no refund, I even offered to travel back to the store to return them when they arrived the own said he did want them, he hasn't sold any of those rings in 10 years, which was a lie because this version is only 3 years old! The money isn't really the point, to treated as horrible as I was and lied too. I recommend to other to shop elsewhere.
PS: Nowhere in the shop is there signage stating no refunds except on firearms.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience. I moved to town about four months ago and have visited your shop on a few occasions—once for the gun store and once for the range. Unfortunately, both times I felt dismissed and was simply referred to the internet for help, even though there were at least two gentlemen behind the counter who appeared unoccupied.
On another visit, I stopped in to inquire about updating my license. I left my information with an employee who was chatting in a room full of other gentlemen. He assured me someone would follow up, but it has now been two months without any contact.

They helped me select the right shotgun for my son, even though they knew I wasn't buy it from them. They also gave me great advice on reloading and helped me find all of the equipment and supplies I needed to do the job right. I have heard from some people that the gun prices are higher, but I can verify that the prices on reloading supplies is on par with other small shops and far less than Bass Pro or Cabela's unless you are buying in bulk.
