Once upon a time, the Duncan Burger King was great, but it hasn't been in a few years now. First, when you drive up, you're going to be asked to wait while they service the one other car in the drive through. Apparently, they can't take more than one order at a time. I don't know what the deal is there, but it makes you have to wait longer than you should have.
Second, they've got some kind of managerial supply problem going on. Before I reached a decision not to go to this BK, I would regularly come in for breakfast only to find out that "We're out of biscuits, will you take a croissant." I'm usually pretty easy going about this, except for the one time that they asked if I wanted a croissant, and then told me that they were out of croissants. For some reason BK does really bad English Muffins in general, so Breakfast is really hit-or-miss (mostly miss) here.
This supply problem also occurs pretty regularly on one particular main menu item. I like getting Whoppers. Generally they're a good burger, but I swear.... I have been to this BK multiple times on different occasions and ordered Whoppers, only to be told that Burger King (Home of the Whopper) is out of Whoppers. How do you mess up your supply chain so badly that you don't have your signature burger? McDonald's has Big Mac's and Arby's has Roast Beef sandwiches, but you're lucky if you can get what you originally order at this Burger King because the supply chain is so messed up.
The staff is generally friendly, but don't trust them to get a specialized order. If you want to change sauces or get a plain Whopper, you can forget about your order being correct ever. It will be wrong.
I might try it again in a couple of years, but it's been truly...
Read moreWent through the drive thru today at breakfast to get to double croissants from Burger King which as this sign in there drive thru clearly states are 2 for $5. The very rude woman at the window charged me $8. I mentioned I thought they were 2 for $5 and she said we don’t do that on the doubles only singles which I said “the sign said it the singles are 2 for $4 and the doubles 2 for $5 according to your sign” she replied it “rang up $8” & just glared at me. I was hungry so I paid my $8 got my food which was good. I pulled around to snap the photo of the sign after leaving the drive thru. I went to the site on the slip taped to the bag as I wasn’t given a receipt. I submitted an honest review with my number in the designated spot for a manager to contact me. Since then I have received spam calls nonstop from different Duncan cell numbers threatening me with legal action for illegal packages seized at the border. I never received calls of this nature until I submitted that complaint. I suspect they sell the phone number entered. Also I never was contacted by anyone from Burger King. Will try avoid going back for a good long bit while I block all...
Read moreWent through the drive through on Friday night around 8pm on 1/12/24 and the lady asking to take our order was very rude. We got to the window asked her to repeat our order and she looked at me rolled her eyes and started repeating it fast. Then she said something that was wrong and we tried to tell her what it was suppose to be she straight up ignored my friend when she asked for sauce and when her daughter repeated it she said I heard you and then my friend told her she should have acknowledged what she said and the girl said for me to pull forward far right and slammed the window shut. No one else was in line so why should I move? So I stayed there watching to make sure they didn’t do something to my food I’ve never been here before and had my order to me faster than that night. When the girl came to the window I asked for her name and she paused and gave me a rude look and said it was Rosie. But I am not sure, she could have been telling me a wrong name. But after I asked that her whole attitude changed and it was like a fake attitude to not tell about...
