Elk Plaza — Local services in Duncan

Went to R & S Drug Store to get a box of face masks because someone had told us that they had gotten some in, but when we got there, one of the employees met us outside the door and asked if he could help us and we told him that we were wanting to buy a box of face masks and he told us that he would sell us 1 face mask for $5.00 and that was the best he could do. He said they were selling them individually to customers and saving the boxes of face masks for people that really needed them. First, I was offended that he felt that I wasn't someone that needed them, and second, I considered what he was doing, to be price gauging because I ended up being able to order a box of them (50 count) online for almost $19.00, so they were making a helluva profit by selling them individually. Since that is the way they want to treat people, and do business, I will not go back to...

We were in the "Cricket" store to purchase a new phone for my very good friend and add a line. Our Salesman was Brayden, his name hits very close to home, my niece's first child, a pre-me was named Brayden God rest his tiny soul. 😞 He was very professional and informative which is rare on occasion with Cricket employees. Was fast and knew his expertise, and have to say observing the other salesman he was also in that category. They work great together as a team very impressed!! Best Cricket in Ok, and rgt there with "Cricket" in Wichita Falls, Tx!!!...

Well I went to Ace Hardware for a shower head. I found one easily for what I considered to be a fairly decent price. While I was there I did some window shopping and spent an additional $100 on things I just felt I couldn't live without. They have a pretty decent selection in their store considering the size of the town (not big). The last thing I should share is they are very serious about keeping the store free of covid-19. The young man that checked me out actually sterilized the card reader when I was done w/it....
