After struggling with the ball I bought “hammer dark legend” I decided to get a second opinion on the set up. So I called this place and Rusty spoke to me on the phone for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes I knew already that he was more intelligent then the original place I went to. I won’t mention where that was. All you need to know is go here.

He told me to bring my ball in and he would take a look at it. I took it up there and right away he knew not only was it drilled wrong but it was illegal as well. So $175 down the drain pretty much. He’s gonna fix but it still feels like a waste.

Long story short I got his advice and picked his brain for almost 2 hours. He didn’t try to upsell me on a new ball or anything just offered great advice and recommendations. I wanted a new ball and decided to buy the one he recommended “ daredevil danger” and I threw 6 games with it last night and it was a massive improvement.

These guys care about you and your game not their wallets. They also have beer there which I drank while being educated. These guys have my business forever. I have to go back to retrieve my “illegal ball” which I left there to be legalized and when I do my brother will be buying a ball I’m sure.

So have you ever felt really intimidated trying something new or maybe trying something you haven’t done in like, 25 years? That was me coming in solo to find out if my old, rarely used glowy ball (from circa 1999) could be refitted & was still ok to roll. I was a bit nervous going in, not being on a league or anything.

Wow what a difference I felt after meeting these guys. Bernie, Bill & the whole team made me feel so welcome. They each answered all my questions.

Bernie patiently, double, triple checked how the ball fit my hand; each finger. He showed me how to hold the ball for better release & control. So less painful than what I was doing!! They also shared the best times I could come in & practice without bothering the league games. I really appreciate everything your team showed me & look forward to my first game. Thank you...

I don't write many reviews but this one had to be posted! Stopped in to this pro shop to inquire about a ball. Bernie greeted me and spent the time to ask me lots of questions before making some recommendations. He asked me my ball speed, how I threw the ball, what weight I was comfortable with, etc. He could have easily tried to sell me a new top of the line ball and call it a day but instead let me try a ball he had to see how it felt. Having not bowled for almost 20 years, I had no idea what to expect. All I can say is that I was very excited to have someone like Bernie who truly wanted to find the best fit for me without simply selling me the latest and greatest.
