I have been going to this salon for a few years now. I have ALWAYS had a great experience here. ALL of the staff is professional, courteous, and skilled. The salon is clean, and prices are fair. The added neck massages are great, and the relaxing classical music is so nice. I have had manicures and pedicures, gel manicures and nail repairs, chair massages, and facial waxings. I have had gel manicures and waxings with Ann, and uv build gel manicures with Tony; they have both done extra special good work on me. Also, Ann manages the shop work and employees, and appointments; she keeps the shop running smoothly. I recommend Viva Nails and Spa from experience :-) New: I just had a fantastic gel manicure from James, and it is exactly what I wanted...short, and every nail is shaped exactly the same...it's beautiful!! I am trying to find out how I can show the great photos here.
So....I don't see a way here on Google to post a new review, so I will have to edit this one and add to it: Just to say that it is great to know that I can ALWAYS depend on getting a perfect gel manicure EVERY time. Once again, James got every nail equally the same shape and length...even tho I need them short for typing, he still makes them beautiful. I did post NEW photos here...but Google is not...
Read moreI decided to go here because they're open on Sunday which is usually the only time I have to get my nails done. The massages are nice after the service and I believe they have the true intention of making it a relaxing experience for you. However, I'm so disappointed in the service the last time I went there. I got a french gel pedicure for $62.00. Which I personally think is a little high, but I wouldn't mind the cost if the service during the pedicure was better. The girl doing my pedicure didn't speak English, which wouldn't be a problem if of she did her job correctly. My nails were not straight and none of them were on the same angle. I kept trying to ask her to file a couple different toe nails down more but she wasn't understanding me and I don't speak Spanish. I also tried to tell her that my big toe nail looked like it was really weak in a specific spot and about to break. The woman manager came over to try and help with the issue but kind of brushed it off telling me it will be fine. Between the language barrier and the lack of caring, less than a week after my pedicure, my big toe is broken and ruined. Now my pedicure looks horrible and what a waste of $62.00. I am so...
Read moreJust moved to the area and was looking for a nail salon. This place is a short drive from my house so I thought I would try it out. Originally I only was going to go in for a pedi and gel removal but ended up breaking a nail really far down on the nail bed and it hurt like hell. I explained that when I went in and the woman at the front was super kind and helpful. She offered to put hard gel on the thumb to keep it from breaking more while it grew out, and put clear polish on the other nails. Both women who did my mani and pedi were also very nice and efficient, I feel bad I didn’t get anyone’s names. The woman doing my manicure was very careful with my broken nail.
I was pleasantly surprised that the basic pedi felt more like a spa pedi with hot stones. I thought it would just be a polish change and a nail trim.
I guess if I’m being really picky, there is a faint crescent line of gel polish left on my nails but it’s minor and doesn’t bother me too much but worth mentioning if you want 100% clean nails. My pedi is perfect!
I will...
