Extremely unethical, tyrannical, power-tripping staff. Willing to deny lifesaving transplant surgery to a CHILD based on their vaccination status... and for a disease which they already have natural immunity to, and to which the vaccine has inadequate testing and unknown long-term consequences. Respect the parents' decision to not subject their already sick child to immune system compromising, experimental vaccinations directly before an invasive surgery. Especially when that vaccine is listed as "recommended", not "required" on your paperwork. ALL CHILDREN ARE WORTH SAVING. How irresponsible for this facility to try to pressure and bribe parents into doing something that they already made a decision against, and using their child's life as collateral. Disgusting practice. Horrendous people. Do your jobs for once and leave your government-pushed politics aside. Children's lives are at stake, do you even care? Obviously not. This...

The doctor refused to offer a clear diagnosis, despite clinical evidence and documented lab results. When I asked questions, I was met with defensiveness rather than clinical insight.
To make matters worse, we received a bill for a high complexity visit and a continuity of care add on, neither of which reflect the care provided. I later realized the visit had been recorded without my knowledge or consent. While this may be technically legal in North Carolina, it is highly inappropriate in a medical setting, especially when children are involved.
Our childās symptoms were later acknowledged and appropriately treated by another provider in the same medical field. I do not, under any circumstances, recommend...

Every nursing staff, physician and student we interacted with while being here has been nothing but excellent! They helped not only my daughter, but they helped keep us parents calm. Never made us feel like we were crazy or extra for our feelings, but validating them to where we feel safe. And as we are waiting to be discharged, my fears, the what could beās, are no longer there as they did their best to find a solution. The nursing staff we had the pleasure of knowing for such a short time, THANK YOU. YOU are what makes a difference. You made our first time ever being admitted to a childrenās hospital, memorable and not a nightmare. We hope to not come back but for a follow up....
