Groen's Fine Furniture — Local services in Dyer

I was headed over from Olympia Fields, IL to shop in at a couple IN nurseries (Alsip on 41) but remembered that a well respected furniture store, Groen's, was right on my way. It's just a couple blocks north of 30 in downtown Dyer....so I decided to visit to check them out.

I was very, very impressed with their high quality furniture offerings in couches, chairs, recliners and more !

I also had a great conversation with sales associate Lisa. She was well informed on the Bassett items I was most interested in, but also offered good suggestions and comments on quality alternatives.

Even though I indicating I was not buying immediately that day, Lisa was very giving of her time and expertise on Bassett sofas, chairs and custom choices such as arms, cushion and fabric choices they offer. VERY HELPFUL!

I think I came away with a much firmer idea of the Bassett sofa and chair combination we would most likely choose.

Groen's showroom was very nicely laid out and easy to shop and parking was convenient and close.

Am 100% sure we will be back we are making our final decisions.

These days it's getting harder and harder to find quality, family-owned businesses that offer quality furnishings, sales associates that know their prodects and competitive pricing.....WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.

I highly recommend you visit Groen's if looking for quality furniture brands and are anywhere near...

Very pleased with my purchase and experience at Groen's Furniture. I just recently purchased my first home and needed a couch. I visited one other store and wasn't pleased with the shopping experience, so my mom and I came to Groen's. I can't remember who helped me, but she was super nice. No pressure and she didn't follow us around as we shopped. I found a great Flexsteel couch that I fell in love with and decided to purchase it. Picking out the fabric for my pillows was super easy, because the first pattern I saw I fell in love with.

I was told 6-8 weeks for delivery and it came 2 weeks early! I was so excited to receive the call!

I had delivery this morning. The delivery guys were nice and respectful. There was some discarded plastic wrappers left behind outside my house and in my living room, but I just picked them up and threw them away.

But overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and my experience. I will be returning to Groen's if I ever need...

My husband and I were travelling through Indiana on our way to O'Hare and flying back to our home in Washington State. We had some extra time so stopped here just to look around since we are considering purchasing some new furniture back home. Cathy greeted us and showed us around. Even after making it clear that we were far from home and wouldn't be buying anything, she continued to be friendly and hospitable, chatting with us and inviting us to look around as long as we wanted. She was a bright spot in many miles of heavy traffic! So while we couldn't buy anything from Groen's, we certainly would if we lived in the area. The store is filled with many quality items.
