I got some great buys on art supplies. Had a very tough time finding stencils and stamps but the staff was helpful. They just donât have a lot. Surprised to see that there are no scanners at checkout. Took a star off for politics.
Update: so Hobby Lobby has decided to downgrade their Artist supplies. They no longer carry anything but their own brand of paints. The selection therefore is nonexistent. Unless you want their sad brand of oils or watercolor youâre out of luck. If you want other brands youâll have to go to Michaelâs. Of course there are plenty of fantastic art supplies available online: Blick, Cheap Joeâs, Jerryâs Artarama, St. Louis Art Supply, âŚâŚ Now the only thing I might buy at HL is mat board.
