This review couldn't wait, fingers not even properly clean yet but this review has to be left, if nothing else help people solidify their choice. First time in Tennessee wanted some good southern BBQ but too far from Memphis. Found two spots in town, one 4.0 and Mojos at 4.4. I didn't even read the reviews, when I saw "from the smoker" on the menu I just took a shot, although the last 4 times I have been let down in other cities. Ordered 1/3 rack and 5 wings. I didn't need 5 wings and now I know I'm in for a wild tummy ride. As I was waiting for my food I decided to read the reviews and I almost considered not going to get the food. But I went anyways. Lets start with the ribs. These were by and far the best ribs I have ever had. I dont know that they actually smoke these on site but they are SMOKED to the core. The meat is red from the smoke, it penetrates your nostrils as you eat it but its complimented by this incredible rub on the ribs. Now these arent fall off the bone, and their not dripping with juice, thats tough to achieve with take out, but on man these ribs were tender, just the right amount of fat, but it was all well rendered from the smoking. At 9.99 a la carte this is a steal. I would have paid 16.99 and been 100% satisfied. Best ribs ever, hats off to whoever made these. Now the wings. These are the biggest wings I have ever seen. I agree with the other review they could be gently fried with some liquid smoke, but there is definitely a smoky hint to them but I doubt they are smoked from raw. BUT, these were meaty, juicy, not overly fried. Your first few bites you'll see what i mean you dont get that smoke permeation like the ribs. But after a piece or two you can tell theres some smokyiness. Had with with the siracha bourbon BBQ sauce and wow, oh wow, I'd buy this sauce, name your price. Greatest sauce ever. Sweet baby ray, move aside, this sauce is the boss. So sweet, so spicy, so smoky, so bbqy. Paid $26 and am 100% satisfied. Even though the wings have a critique I thourally enjoyed. Thankyou Mojo, sorry I'll likely never...
Read moreMy family and I went here tonight for the first time. The resturaunt is nicely decorated and there was plenty of parking, 7pm on a Sunday. There are 16 TVs in the relatively small dining area that you can watch sports on. It was nice that the bar area was separated from the dining area. We were a table of 9. The service was ok. Our waitress seemed to be new, and a little unsure of what she was doing. They were accommodating towards a severe allergy and made sure the food would be safe. Unfortunately the food was awful. The only thing that was enjoyed at our table was the hot wings. The chicken strips were awful, and the "French fries" were basically potato chips. They were cut so thin they were turned hollow and hard when cooked. The burgers, and other sandwiches, were dry. Would not recommend this resturaunt if you are wanting to have a meal, but would probably be a nice place to drink and watch TV. We will not...
Read more*UPDATE: 3/29/24 My first time going here at night. The restaurant is on one side. The bar is separated by big sliding doors. The nightlife here is great. People of all ages(21+) intermingling and having a good time. Great music selection. Looks like they do karaoke, too. People were dancing, laughing, and looked to be having a blast. They served beer and mixed drinks. The kitchen closes at 9 pm. My friends and I had an awesome time. I will be returning for more tasty drinks and making more memories with my friends! Go check it out if you haven't!! Great service! We love their fried pickles. So good! We also ordered chicken strips from the kids' menu. They were very good as well. I noticed that they have variety on mixed drinks and beer. The menu also has variety on appetizers and main meals. We were happy all around. We keep going back. Nothing but good to say about this place. Everyone...
