Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Dyersburg

I've loved Papa John's pizza for all of my life. Their pizza is amazing and it's really close to where I live. I've had delivery before as well and it took no time at all for them to deliver it to my house. I love cheese pizza or pizza with grilled chicken on it and that's usually what I buy anywhere when it comes to pizza. I love their chicken here at Papa John's and I also love their stuffed crust. They recently, to my knowledge, released a Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust Pizza and it's absolutely amazing! Their regular Epic Stuffed Crust Pizza is also great but their new Garlic version is what's going to keep me coming back for more. I really like their thicker Garlic Sauce and it pairs perfectly with the stuffed crust on the Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust. The entire pizza is garlic-y and tastes amazing but the crust is off the charts delicious. If you haven't tried it yet and you love garlic, do yourself a favor and try it. The surface inside the store was fine The pizza was great The reason why I gave it one star is they have a central call area when you call ahead to order it which I don't know where it goes but The person was of Indian or Pakistani descent and I didn't understand what he was saying and I evidently he didn't understand what I was saying because after I placed my order and he thanked me and we hung up I go to the store they never heard of me they never had my order so whatever happened Papa John's never received my call ahead order and I was furious because I had to wait 30 more minutes. Now let me explain I understand language barriers 100% but if you're going to get somebody in your business you better make sure they speak perfect English aside from their native language because this was the biggest miscommunication I've ever had with Papa...

There's nothing special about this location. It's your average, mediocre Papa John's restaurant. The pizza is reliably boring and the one thing that redeems their pizza at all is the free salt and fat laden sauces. One very busy evening we were left with limited pizza options because Alvino's was closed. The reason I'll never be back is because when I picked up my pizza and didn't leave a tip for pizza, which I picked up, the man taking my money looked at the receipt and audibly sighed his displeasure at the empty tip line on the credit card receipt.
