We have bought 3 Nissan Rougues from Rick Nissan and have previously had good experience buying new cars. So when we needed a truck for work we went back and found a used 2015 Nissan Frontier PRO 4X on the lot. At the time of purchase the fair market value of the truck with 115,000 miles on it was around $16,000. We thought we were buying a base model PRO 4X because it was all manual and no features whatsoever. However, what we were sold was a stripped down "S" model Frontier, and the fair market value of it at the time was $10,000. There are no markings or decals that indicate which version it is, and nowhere on any of the paperwork does it list the sub-model type.
After dealing with GAP insurance on the last totaled Nissan Rogue we purchased there, GAP required all paperwork to be sent in including the sticker. The sticker on the Frontier states it is a "PRO 4X", the GAP insurance we paid for is now useless, we've been paying too much on auto insurance for a higher valued vehicle, and our loan company payment reflects that we've been paying on a "PRO 4X" model, not the cheaper stripped down "S" model.
To correct the error they offered to print off a new window sticker and give us "a good deal" on trading in the "S" model we actually have, but that doesn't change the fact that they advertised and sold us the wrong model vehicle, nor the $5000 we overpaid on this truck and trading in would put us upside down on our note with a much higher payment.
After 8 years of continued service with them, they just sold us the last vehicle they ever will. We are taking our business elsewhere with less shady businesses practices.
Response to the owner: See, lying is what got you that review from us. You guys spoke with me this morning (June 17, 2020) and had an opportunity to correct it then. You're either willing to make it right and we take down all the negative reviews, or live with these reviews being blasted everywhere we can leave a review at. The error was on part of Rick Hill Nissan for listing the vehicle as a PRO 4X, and selling it for the price of a PRO 4X at the time of purchase...I do not care what the truck can sell for now. No where in the rest of the documentation does it list the model of the truck either.

Read moreThis dealership is the reason used car dealers have the reputation as snakes in the grass. I had found a car listed on cargurus and on Rick Hill's website and called this morning to confirm it was still on the lot. I talked with Terry Price and was told that the car was still available and he would have it sitting out front for me. I told Terry that I was driving 6 hours round trip from Nashville and Mondays are the only day I am not working. After driving all the way to Dyersberg I was informed that not only had Terry left for the day because his daughter was sick (which is understandable) but also that the car I had driven 6 hours out of my way to look at had been sold. EVEN THOUGH I CONFIRMED WITH TERRY THAT MORNING IT WOULD BE THERE. The sales manager (who never bothered to give me his name) would not even stand up from his computer or even look me in the eyes to apologize or even make up for their mistake. He started making excuses for not being able to call me back, but couldn't even stand up and look me in the eye like a man. People make mistakes, but a SALES MANAGER should be able to MANAGE a situation like this. So let me help you in the future: If one of your sales associates makes this big of a screw up you still had 3 hours before I got there. You could have pulled every other car on the lot that would have met my needs and make me a deal, look through your massive dealer network and offer to transfer a car to me, or at the least offer a gas voucher for my time and expense in driving out of my way. Any of these options would have been acceptable but instead your sales manager acted like an ostrich and put his head in the sand. I expect this out of some hole in the wall car dealership, but not an affiliated Nissan dealership. Your sales people are why people buy everything online. This was the worst service I have ever received, and I've waited 30 minutes for Taco Bell so...

Honestly, I know NOTHING about cars. This dealership put me in my first car off of a lot (a HUGE THANK YOU is due to Mr. Dion Fisher!), and I have had a great experience every since the day I signed the papers with Mr. Dallas Callins. These men were very attentive to my circumstance and wishes, as well as thorough with every step of the process.
I recently experienced minor issues with my Nissan, so without hesitation I returned to the dealership and told them what was going on. They assisted me immediately (I mean really, there was no wait time for me to speak with a member). They got me set up for an appointment after they figured out what was wrong.
Now that my parts are in, I called Kirk Nissan to confirm my appointment and Stephanie Gregory LITERALLY eased my stress COMPLETELY!
I am not used to dealing with car problems, so this experience was a nuance and very stressful to me. Stephanie answered every question I had, and by the end of the call I was so excited to have spoken with her!
Each member I mentioned in my review, I have interacted with; although I found their full names on the company website. But I can promise any person, if you go to Kirk Nissan and have the pleasure of running into one of these great people, you WILL NOT REGRET IT OR FORGET IT!
The experience I have had with the employees at Kirk Nissan is a ray of sunshine, no matter what my day was like before interacting with them.
Kirk Nissan is very lucky to have great people working for the company, bringing happiness and satisfaction to all customers in Dyersburg and surrounding areas! That's hard to find nowadays, but I am SO GRATEFUL to have found just that at Kirk Nissan.
Thank y'all for helping me out in my times of frustration and...
