On Sunday October 18th at 10:20 a.m. I met with Jade Lee, NP through the drive-thru window at the New Holland CVS for a COVID test. I made my appointment approximately 24 hrs before. The CVS website stated that a picture of my insurance card was RECOMMENDED, not required. Jade Lee informed me that she would not be able to give me a COVID test because I did not upload my insurance card as “required”. When I informed her that the website did not state that she immediately became defensive. More than once, she accused me of being at fault. Her tone became harsh and her responses were short. I was not allowed to hand her my insurance card, rightfully so, however, she would not allow me to get back in line and simply email a picture of my insurance card or hold it up through the window. The way Jade Lee behaved was not only unprofessional but disrespectful. I understand that what she’s required to do in her current position at CVS is not easy but I work in a school and also have been faced with unpleasant situations however I’ve learned that remaining respectful and giving grace is what we should all practice during these times. I’d also like to mention that I was able to make another appointment at a different CVS within the same hour. At this CVS, the person in front of me did not upload their insurance card prior to her appointment and the NP was very kind and accommodating and allowed her to hold it up through the drive-thru window. **The website now states that uploading a picture of your insurance card...
Read moreMy new insurance is forcing me to go to CVS. This was my first experience at CVS in New Holland Pa. today. My doctor called in my script today. i got to the pharmacy to pick it up and they told me they didn't receive the prescription. Came back an hour and a half later, still nothing. Called the doctors office and they tell me the pharmacy received it an hour and forty five minutes ago. Had my doctors office call them and no one would answer the phone, I could hear it ringing for almost seven minutes, finally a girl answered and put them on hold right away. she came over to where I had been waiting and I told her to pick up the phone, my doctor is on hold. She did...I heard her say, oh, I know what happened and then told me it would take a long time to get my prescription ready because they were swamped... As I was waiting there, almost every customer was complaining of prescriptions not being ready or never received. People on their phones wondering to the person on the other end if they were in the right place because they didn't have anything for them. I walked out...2 hours of waiting and got nothing. When I got home I had 2 voicemails on my home phone from two and a half hours ago stating that This was CVS and I should be sure to bring my insurance card when I pick up my prescriptions and WELCOME TO CVS! I'm calling my insurance company tomorrow. There has to be a...
Read moreBeen going to this pharmacy for years and never had an issue until the last 20 hours. Went to drop off a perscription for my son yesterday for an ointment for pink eye and they didnt have it said they would have it today around 3pm. Went back today at 4ish and they said they did not get it in their shipment. Being that my son is 9 months old with pink eye and super goopy eyes I called back in around 6 to see if they could tell me the closest CVS that had it and the woman who answered the phone first off had no manners at all and said hello very grumpily and then proceeded to tell me i had to call around to other CVS pharmacies to see who had it on hand. Oh and then had to drive over an hour to get it. As of today my sons perscriptions will never be getting filled here any longer because clearly they are too incompetent to get a perscription filled when they say they'll have it filled. Pharmacy of caring i think not.
Sincerely the mom of a very unhappy 9 month old who was having issues seeing because of pink eye all because your pharmacy doesnt have the...
