My family and I enjoy coming here occasionally for weekend brunches or random occasions. I really like the atmosphere, it’s very cute. The plants are awesome, and the whole place has such a light fresh feel. It’s usually pretty busy but it never feels crowded. We generally enjoy the food we get here, they make some pretty good crepes. I really like that they have a gluten free option and it’s the same size as the regular crepes. I’ve never had a bad reaction after eating here so they must do a fairly decent job of avoiding cross contamination. I appreciate that they haven’t messed my order up and given me a regular crepe when I asked for gluten-free. I do wish they had a few more gluten-free options, like maybe bread for breakfast sandwiches. The menu isn’t very big, but I’ve tried a few different things here and they’re all pretty good. Their coffee isn’t exceptional. I’ll be honest I’m pretty spoiled in Lancaster county with some darn good coffee shops, and for New Holland, it’s probably good coffee. I’m just not impressed by it though. I feel like they make good drinks, but the coffee itself is just eh. I have also had a few times where I’ve ordered decaf and definitely not gotten decaf… which is kind of frustrating cause if I do that it’s for a reason, I’m sadly one of those that can’t have caffeine past a certain point of the day but I really really enjoy coffee. That’s kind of my only gripe with this place, other wise i...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting this place. Overall, my nephew, niece, and I had a good time together enjoying our fellowship and food. We ordered at the counter and paid. We took a seat, and it wasn't long until I received my specialty coffee, and my nephew received his hot chocolate. My niece just drank water. It was about 20 minutes until 2 of our crepes came out. They forgot to make the 3rd one. It only took about 5 minutes until the 3rd one came. WOW! They were worth the wait. We all enjoy our meals and a few bites of each other's meals. It is a strip mall store front location. That makes the dining room very bright and cheery because of all of the natural light. The staff was very helpful and upbeat. Their smiles were very welcoming and made us feel at home. When they realized the mistake that I mentioned above, they brought out a homemade cookie for us to share. That, too, was very good! I am planning on introducing my wife and a few of our friends to this...
Read moreFor starters…can one really mess up a crepe? They are so delish no matter what, and I think these people do a fine job! I tried both savory and sweet and enjoyed both! Lemon blackberry I think was my fav.
But I do think the Botanical Creperie CAN NOT beat it’s sister restaurant, the NH coffee co down on the other end of the strip (their food, atmosphere, and service is unmatched).
The creperie’s trendy ambience is not without all the beautiful thriving plants and cute relevant interior design, all lovely, but it is rather small. It definitely has a different feel then the Coffee Co. It would be a great place to to gather the girls, do brunch with mom or dad, or to pick a treat up for oneself driving home from work down on Main Street… 😋
I also just wish they didn’t close so early, but maybe their hours will expand with increased business.
Thanks for my yummy...
