I've had an academy sports credit card I use that I got I'm florida. I bought a pair of costa loretos from there had an older gentleman help me, he was very nice I said I wanted them and he's like and they are fully warranted. So less then a month later I went to a family funeral in Florida came home and they fell on the floor. My nieces puppy chewed the templates. So I was like 4 days over the returning date. So I took them back to ac talked to a girl at the return counter she asked for a receipt and I didn't have it bur I had the box. So She's like sure I'll help. Mind you I didn't expect a new pair maybe just a discount. So she overlooks the glasses says she can't find a serial # yo match the store and goes back I'm a room and closes the door. Comes out and says I can't find anything so I look at my receipt on my phone hand it to her clearly showing everything. She says we'll it still doesn't match it being bought here. So she calls her manager who walks up doesn't offer any discount just says well there's nothing I can do without a receipt. So as soon as other previous items are paid I'm getting rid of my...

I am writing to share a distressing experience that I occurred at the store with having a background in store retail for ten plus years, you understand the action and behaviors of store employees and management when on the floor. As I spent time in the store deciding on what I want for my son’s opening season, on my way to check out the clearance 50%off rack caught my attention. It’s before 10am the store looks amazing cleaned/organized and ready for today’s customers. An associate hovers over me like a bee just swinging through the racks closest to the door as if I’m taking a run for it. As she proceeds to get closer to be I ask her “I’m sorry am I in your way” and she said no it’s the rack. At this point I’m so confused/annoyed and proceed to check out. The cashier was very polite. On my way out I see baseball sunglasses I stop to take a look, I go to turn a way and greeted with an associate right behind me watching. The was the most disturbing and unsettling experience I have ever encountered. This is how loss prevention prevents theft, not a woman just casually walking...

Good sporting goods store. Lots of selections buy shoes tend to be hit or miss. Stock always seems to be low on most popular brands and sporting shoes. Had to get the display pair of shoes for my son which was fine but having more stock on the floor would make my shopping experience less stressful and up my likelihood of returning when the next size shoe is needed for a growing preteen. Lol. Staff are helpful when asked but had to go the whole way up to the check out to ask for help in thr shoe department and added a good 10 to 15 mins to my shopping time. It did work out and we found what we came for however the stock in sporting shoes are almost always picked over and lots of empty shelves on name brand sports shoes. Prices were good, we found a good pair of Basketball shoes for a 30% discount off retail. Still $80... but felt better then the $110.

Maybe online shopping is better but when the season starts tomorrow and the kiddo needs shoes I tend to go here and finds something for his needs in a timely way. Just feel the stocking is almost always low...
