Spent all week online and on the phone with QuickBooks technical support due to Company File not opening 8 hour days, starting on Monday, ending yesterday (Thursday). They kept telling me what it was, then would go back on what they said. Contacted our internet provider as we thought it was a network issue but they could not help. Left my contact information on computition.net, they called within the hour and helped in 10 minutes resolving the issue almost immediately doing Remote Access and a phone call! What took me over 32 hours this week, was resolved in 10 minutes and it was the easiest fix that we never even knew about. Amazing customer service from Jason. Knew how to keep conversation instead of having awkward silence on the phone, and kept the atmosphere positive, made us laugh a few times too! So thankful for Jason and the crew at Computition because we thought we would no longer be able to use QB after what their tech support had tried telling us! Thank you guys for being great!...

The owner has replied to this comment and is still under the mistaken notion that there was water damage to the computer due to a single event. Such is not the case, certainly not enough to cause widespread corrosion. The computer is 8 years old and has been used almost everyday often under humid (non AC) conditions. Any so-called corrosion that a tech would have found would be for that reason. Regardless the computer was perfectly functioning when dropped off except for the I/O board. When the technician was asked if he tried to turn on the computer to trouble-shoot, or back-up the data, he did not have a clear answer. I called with a simple question that took the technician less than 3 minutes to explain and walk ME through on my computer to address my question. 3 MINUTES at the most. What happened next? I got a bill for $26.50 the next day. Beware they charge for everything. Having bought numerous products and services over the years from this place who would have thought this would happen. Oh well lesson learned.....time to go find a new computer company but want everyone to know......BEWARE of Computation times...
