Outfitters Ski Shop / OutBack Board Store — Local services in East Hempfield Township

After having a terrible experience at “Era Ski and bike” outfitters made up for it and highly recommend these guys. I walked in upset due to being rudely turned away from “era ski and bike” due to them not wanting size my girlfriend for ski boots. I walked in to outfitters and Max went above and beyond even though he knew we were just in the market for buying boots. We weren’t 100 percent sure if we were going to buy anything today. Max told us he didn’t care and still sized my girlfriend for ski boots. He was very helpful and informative. We ended up buying a pair of boots and left our gear to get tuned for the season. 10/10 would recommend. I almost forgot. Max’s father was also working today and was talking to me if we were family. This family owned shop is the place to go if you're a big time skier around here. When I called in about a boot inquiry- they knew exactly what model I was talking about and put the boot and size aside for me. When I arrived hours later the boots were all ready and the heat molding was underway. In the meantime I was able to get my skis tuned (which I was not planning on doing- just so convenient!) and got hooked up with some great bindings for a stellar price. These guys know what they're talking about and will give you the proper 1v1 time you need to educate you about your equipment. Great family owned business! feels more like a cabin in the mountains than a ski shop! no pressure to spend every penny you have. the father and son make you feel welcomed and very appreciative for choosing their store. Very knowledgeable and don't feed you a bunch of BS like a lot of ski stores. They seem more focused on earning your respect and business for life rather than getting the most out of you on one visit!
