The Great Frame Up — Attraction in East Hempfield Township

Honestly, we only just ordered our piece today so haven't even received the final product yet, but honestly that's just beside the point. We had such an awesome experience here this afternoon and just know the final product we receive at the end of this experience will be amazing and honestly just the icing on the cake. We have been trying to find a frame for one of my photography pieces but have had no luck. We tried two other frames and both were of poor quality. We weren't sure where to turn next but today, upon dropping off the return shipment of both of those frames to a local UPS, we saw a paper sign on their old building that they had moved. We never knew there was a frame place there before. We decided to make an impromptu stop to check it out and were so pleasantly surprised. The woman that helped us, Christy or Kristy, asked what we were looking for and then quickly walked around and grabbed a few to match my vague description. She nailed it immediately. Within maybe two minutes, we knew exactly what we wanted and she handed us a quote. During all of this, at one point, I heard a voice say, "I have a picture for you." I turned around and there sat a kind woman, Christy/Kristy's sister, who handed me a small square piece of paper with words written on it. One of the names was her own, Stacy. She is handicapped in some way, and so her artistic gift that she drew on the stairs while observing us, was so incredibly heart-warming. We knew right away this was a business we wanted to support. Stacy loves to bake and eat cake, paint and sketch, and clearly to connect with people. I had a piece restored by The Great Frame Up and I couldn’t be happier! They were extremely informative with my options for the piece. Also, I asked if they could recommend anyone to assist me with hanging it, as I was nervous to do it on my own due to the large size and heavy weight of the piece. They offered their own time after they closed for the day (on a Friday!) to deliver the piece and hang it.
