Rohrerstown Diner — Restaurant in East Hempfield Township

Absolutely one of the best diners we’ve visited. We were in the Lancaster PA area fora wedding and wanted a good breakfast. From the moment we parked, we knew this place was going to be great. Lots of cars in the lot all with local license plate frames or dealer names so we had a good feeling. The waitresses tripped over themselves to get us seated and got us coffee immediately. My wife’s Decaf tasted fresh which was another positive indicator of how good our visit would be. My wife got the Chorizo Omelet. She asked for crispy home fries and not only were they crispy, they were tasty. I ordered hotcakes with bacon. Without asking for my bacon to be made crispy, it came out perfect, lean with nice crunch.. I tend to rate diners by their hotcakes and these did not disappoint! I should’ve gone with a full stack! Stopped into this little diner and was blown away by the service. You can tell the waitresses and the owner Steve care about their customers! Our waitress Lindsey was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had — witty, funny, and made us feel like we were the only people in the place. She had that perfect balance of humor and attentiveness, checking in just enough without hovering. You could tell she genuinely enjoyed what she does, and that kind of energy makes all the difference.

Changing my review from a 1 star to 5 star review, because the first time I went here was like 2 yrs ago the server was an older lady I don't remember her name, but not very friendly, and they got my order wrong like twice, and haven't been back since last Wednesday, I had a different server this time, her name was Kristen, and she was very sweet, polite, and friendly, she actually took the time to write our order down and it came out exactly perfect. She even took the time to actually check up on us, unlike the server the first time which took our order then we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. The food was also great.
