Order placed was incorrect, called the assistant manager Cody gave great customer service when called was made. Gave us direction on what will be done to correct the mistake went back the next day for the correction and was told before saying a word that the store was out of the 2 items that was to be corrected I gave explanation on the call made day before and said that we would be back the next day (today) called ahead before making the trip and the store manager was rude said that he doesn't know what cody (assistant) said to correct the situation when I repeated the Cody said he would leave a note along with order # store manager stated that me seen that but not protocol to replace the whole meal but since Cody already said how it was going to be handled that it obviously has to be given the way Cody recommended but that we had to wait for him to come in for the correction and that when corrections need to be made it's with in 24 hours not days later I explained to him I was their yesterday (in the 24 hour window) and was told 2 of the items that needed to be corrected they didn't have henceforth why we decided to call ahead this time instead of making a useless trip. When the store manager stated that the issue has to be corrected the way Cody said when Cody comes to work tomorrow but that's not the way they usually handle the situation. With all that being said the store manager making us wait for a correction due to their mistake to be fixed when Cody comes in why not it just be done now? The store is apparently short staffed and to be honest if I had to work with a manager like that I would quit. Being the store manager should lead by example so being rude to customers are what the employees are seeing they will follow suit. If that location has any chance of survival with keeping customers to return that store manager needs to be demoted and if not Cody (he knows the meaning of customer satisfaction) to be his replacement I highly suggest looking for another store manager. I've worked customer service 10+ years and not once would I ever treat a customer the way he did why b/c with the customers their will be no business which means no money to be made. Keeping him on as a store manager is just going to hurt that stores profit. Sorry for the long explanation but the rudeness and respect given by the store manager was and is absolutely ridiculous. Called corporate office 1 to make awareness of the store manager and to make sure the assistant manager doesn't have issues for trying to make right of...
Read moreI am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the service I received at your Rohrerstown Road location in Lancaster Pennsylvania on December 15th. I had a deeply upsetting experience that has left me unwilling to patronize this store in the future.
The incident occurred when I pulled into the drive-thru. The store was open, and the weather was fine, but after waiting for five minutes without any acknowledgment, someone finally spoke through the headset, stating, “Due to short staffing, we are only accepting mobile orders.”
I asked if it was possible for me to download the app and place an order that way. However, I received no response for several minutes. Eventually, I was asked to pull up to the window. When I arrived, I was told the exact same thing: “Due to short staffing, we can only do mobile orders.” I found this confusing since the associate was able to speak to me both through the headset and at the window.
I repeated my question about whether I could download the app to place an order. To my shock, the associate responded, “You don’t have to be so rude about it.” I was completely caught off guard by this accusation, as I was simply trying to work with the situation and order food from your open establishment.
After that, I was asked to pull up again and was ignored entirely. This experience was not only unprofessional but also upsetting. It felt like the staff were unwilling to provide assistance, and the associate’s rude response was unacceptable.
I have always enjoyed Burger King in the past, but this incident has left me with no desire to return to this location. I will also be sharing this negative experience with others. I hope that appropriate action is taken to address the behavior of this staff member and to improve customer service at...
Read moreI was starving and needed something quick so decided to stop here and went inside. I immediately noticed a man that appeared to be the manager filling all of the fries with no gloves on. As I stood waiting for my food I watched him open the small paper pouches for the small fries by pushing his fingers down into them and spreading them open. He was then scooping the fries up and into the bag, letting them rain down onto his hand before falling into the bags. In between filling the bags he was checking the screen with the orders while resting his hands on the counter and grabbing receipts so his hands were everywhere including the inside of your fry bag. This man did have a mask on but I noticed that he was the only employee not wearing gloves, every other person in the back had gloves and a mask on. Other than that everything inside was clean. Each table has a sign on it so that customers know which ones have just been cleaned and for customers to show that theirs needs cleaned when they are done. The fountain drink area was clean and refills require a new cup. There are also touchless hand sanitizers at each door. I was honestly surprised to see such a sanitary environment in a fast food restaurant, minus the...
