The last time I went to this shop was a decade ago.. I had a reading that was soo fake that I couldn't return.. today I was in Groton and felt adventurous.. BIG MISTAKE I was "overcharged" 42$ for a 24$ stone. When I got home I looked at the receipt and called the shopp.. I my honesty was questioned with condicention.. I was asked to come back to the shop so the stone could be weighted ( very inconvenient and totally out of my way.) I demanded my 18$ be returned and put onto my card. The owner LYNN .. yelled at me and told me I "had bad karma" because I threatened to wrote a bad review if I wasn't treated fairly. At one point one of the 3 woman there, asked me several times.. " where do you live that you can't come back to the store" I responded by saying " that is an inappropriate question " I have No Idea how these people are peddling "enlightenment???? Go to Pandora's Box in Norwich... ALLISON and MORGAN are the real deal.. I've been going to them for 15 years ... This Owner's customers service is a nightmare

I'm 47.. so I'm not ageist.. I'm simply letting a peer know I'd expect more maturity at this age.. and the money isn't in my account..so, as far as I know.. the money hasn't Yet been refunded..now has it?.. and MY REVIEW is NOT ABOUT A REFUND is it??? It's about your Discusting Customer Service And you're level of immaturity shows .. as you respond STILL BEING RUDE.. NO APOLOGY for the way you "ladies" treated me.. DISCUSTING... And the " VERBAL ATTACK " is a LIE.. I never cussed, yelled or got personal.. you 3 however, DID. I'm contacting BBB... this seems to be on the verge of harassment.. I have EVERY RIGHT to post my experience at your shop LYNN.. (owner of shop)WITHOUT YOUR HARASSMENT I'm also contacting Google reviews..

UPDATE: AIPRIL 20th 2021 (It's been 2/3 weeks already, plenty of time for a refund to hit account..or even for owner to grow up, get a conscience)

The 18$ has NOT be refunded. Lynn wrote in one of her responses that it been. . That statement was either a lie, or she went BACK and TOOK OUT MONEY

A friend took me here before i was into crystals. I decided to buy a purple agate slice and a labradorite chunk with one polished side. I had a few dollar bills and some quarters and my total was 5. I was standing there getting the change out when a lady walked up and insisted on giving me 5 dollars which i felt bad about taking because i had enough. But i thanked her and remembered the random kindness. A year later i got out the labradorite one day and started noticing what a huge affect it had...the more i carried it the more it did. Everything changed, and i found the courage to get a job where i met my soulmate. the rock was in my pocket every day since the interview. Over time i showed it to coworkers and felt the need to share this energy and have bought crystals for others. My soulmate now believes in crystals since we met and carries them. I am now obsessed with crystals but labradorite was my first. It has taken me on a spiritual journey i never thought possible and healed me. It is also the most brilliant beautiful specimen ive ever been able to find. I wish i could remember names but after all these years i wanted to thank the lady here who bought me this gift, and now i understand why it was so important. One act of kindness can go a very long way. I believe this place is magical and id give...

My granddaughter and I walked into this East Lyme shop today, and we were immediately told to wear a mask. I politely declined.

The person behind the counter told me we HAD to wear masks. No, we don’t. Again, I declined. (I absolutely do NOT want to breathe in regurgitated air and bacteria; nor did I want my granddaughter to feel like she had to do the same. Both of us have asthma.) I’m SO tired of this ridiculous nonsense.

We simply wanted to browse the crystals for a few minutes. She told me if we did not exit the store immediately, she would call the police! She said this to me twice! The woman behind the counter was VERY rude and snarky.

I suppose they simply don’t care if they lose the business. I will NEVER go back and I’m telling EVERYone I know about my unfortunate experience. We left without giving her a lovely suggestion where she could store her...
