The food was good but the only thing that bugged me was the service. I was with 2 of my friends keep in mind we are all teenage girls. We got seated closes to the bathroom in the back which was ok because we asked for a booth and it was the only booth available. Again we are all teenage girls so we were laughing but not too loud to distract other customers. it was just a regular brunch date with a couple of my girlfriends where we gossip and talk about life. We had an older waitress who was kind of short. she had blondish greyish hair. She didn’t talk much she kind of just said one think and walked away. Which usually they would introduce themselves but she didn’t so i never got her name. Yes we should’ve told her before everything the 3 of us were splitting the bill but last time we came we had a really nice lady who asked after our meal if we were splitting the bill or keeping it as one. As we were finished with our meal she gave us the bill and sped away. it was one bill and we all had cards so we thought it would be easier for HER to split the bill instead of asking her to divide it on each card. We sat there for about 15 min on a time crunch waiting for her to come back. She never did so i grabbed another waiter and asked him if he could split the bill for us. He was only a busser which was understanding so he had asked our original waitress. i could see them talking to eachother and once the conversation was over she waved him off and scuffed then continued to split the bill. she then walked back over to us and threw our checks on the table. we wiped her attitude off and payed. then came to the tip. my total was 14.43 so i tipped her 67 cents to even it out. i would’ve tipped her more if she had a better attitude with us because it kinda ruined the experience and drained my mood as well considering she was probably in a bad mood. she then took our checks saw the tip and said, “how generous.” what...
Read moreWhatever you are in the mood for, they got it. Breakfast, yum! Love their 222 meal. Their corn bread is something which I always have at each meal. Love the twin chicken dinner meal which is marinated and my go-to meal. Very moist and a total pleaser. Don't forget their desserts. It's a triple threat place. I come in and always get my 222 meal the same way. I've been doing it for years, but today, the waitress, which I've never had before, says i can't substitute cornbread for eggs. She goes n talks to the owner/ manager, and he says no way. He comes over, and Im telling you someone needs to teach this man customer service. Basically, he said no, and he will fire whatever waitress is doing this because they are stealing from him after me telling him ive been substituting for year. This conversation went south , and I actually started to feel bad for his workers. He Doesn't value them. They are expendable over corn bread. This is the first time this has ever happened in all the years I have been coming, left with...
Read moreI've come to the conclusion that either the people who rated this place so highly lack tastebuds or we got them on an extremely off day. Emphasis on the EXTREMELY. There is no way this place is almost 5 stars on Google. Everything here lacks freshness and quality. They have some great ideas on the menu and maybe when they weren't a local chain the quality was there at some point but in our experience, everything tastes canned or old, even the potatoes they use for the homefries. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was okay but the sad excuse for biscuits they try to serve you is disappointing for both your tastebuds and wallet. We didn't eat most of our breakfast because it was just so bad. You can't even try and drink it down because they give you the smallest glasses I've seen in a restaurant and your waitress doesn't bring refills. In fact you really don't see your waitress at all. Normally this wouldn't bother me but once again, small glasses.
Turn your car around and just go to the Hangry Goose...
