Over the weekend, we finally had the chance to visit the CRC, something we'd been meaning to do for a while. The volunteers at the center were quick to engage with my 4-year-old son, who was filled with excitement to explored all the treasures. At his age, he's into costume play, so his imagination ran wild with all the possibilities.
The CRC boasts an impressive and ever-changing array of items, driven by donations from local individuals and businesses. They had a dedicated playroom, which provided a perfect space for my little dude to have fun while I took a chance to explore the offerings as well. We ended up purchasing some art supplies and stationery, but the real highlight was a Water & Air Creations kit that our son can't wait to open and start building!

Read moreThe Creative Reuse Center is not only a fantastic and accessible resource for creative supplies, it is also a haven in the world. It's volunteer- run, so everyone who is there really wants to be there, and everyone who visits is really kind and supportive. Because the stock is comprised of donations from industries and individuals, you really never know what you'll find there. You can expect to encounter a tremendous variety of things, and always lots of vintage supplies, but you'll probably also find friends and inspiration there.
