I went into the store and everything went well(a bit over priced as it was), they had no problem accepting my money. However, their customer service is atrocious. To begin with the woman working there wrote the wrong phone number down. I called the day of delivery to get an update and she had trouble finding my order. She said that she accidentally wrote down the wrong number and asked for confirmation to correct it and that I was next on the delivery schedule. 4 hours later and no mattress, I decided to call again. She told me that the delivery drivers tried and there was no answer, even though I was at the apartment all day AND next to my phone with no visible attempt of either calling or paging via apartment call box. The woman then states that she AGAIN wrote down the wrong phone number, and that I would have to wait another day for delivery and offered a $100 refund and a new 5 hour window the following day. The next day, I called in and talked to another representative and was simply wanting to request a 30 minute heads up as I have other things going on and would like to make sure I am available to receive the mattress, and was rudely told I just need to make sure I am there when they are or they will move on. He seemed annoyed that I called and offered zero assistance. Although purchasing from this store is very easy, dealing with the associates is a nightmare and leaves you subject to their incompetence. What ever happened to taking pride in your job? Their job is customer service, not merely swiping credit cards and then continuing to wander an empty store. My fiancé and I went to get a replacement for our mattress because the mattress began to sag in the middle. The warranty process was really simple and the warranty claim was approved the same day. We went to this location and Mehgan was the person to help us out. I must say, this was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. Mehgan was welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. I have significant back problems so picking out the right mattress was really important. I explained to Mehgan my needs and she showed us three different mattresses that fit those needs. During this process, she was really funny and made us feel comfortable. I had initially gone to the store to do an even warranty trade but Mehgan up sold us on a dream of a mattress. We got to test the mattress. She showed us all of the different settings and features of the mattress with the adjustable base. While showing us this mattress, she also made it a fun and enjoyable experience. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed that hard while being sold on something. I really enjoyed her personality and approach to selling us on this mattress. We ended up buying a mattress at a higher price than we had anticipated but after sleeping on this bed for the past week, it was worth every penny. I even got a purple pillow to go with this purchase and I haven’t slept this soundly in a long time. If you’re looking for a fun, charismatic, and genuine salesperson Mehgan is your person! I needed a mattress. It is Christmas and a terrible time to do so. And such a confusing purchase. . I read online reports and ratings and became more confused. Then, on my way home, after an awful stormy day I thought, what the heck, I will just browse. I walked into Mattress Firm Seekonk and met Abraham. He was the coolest, friendliest, knowledgeable, non-pushy salesperson ever. He asked me easy questions, asked my price-range, remained unbiased, didn’t overwhelm me, and gave me choices that fit my needs. Never made me feel pushed or like he was trying to make the sale. And I bought a mattress!!! I financed at 0 percent for 24 months,,he explained EVERYTHING; the terms of financing, the mattress guaranty policy, (return policy,) delivery schedule, etc. in layman’s terms.
