Love the company and their selections, hate the customer service I received from Steve, the manager. Called and was informed I could have get a replacement piece in store, upon arriving I was told I could not replace the item. i then called another location who I confirmed they can replace the item and not the entire machine. Steve still made no accommodations, despite me being a loyal customer. Instead, he wanted to send me 9 miles out of my way to be serviced at another store. I refused to make that trip and called their customer service line. Katie was her name and she was phenomenal. Her first order of business was ensuring I was t injured using the defective device. She then ordered me a replacement part and shipped it to me. I’ll continue to be a HF customer. But I refuse to spend money at a store Steve manages. As a company, consistency is key. I like Harbor Freight Tools because of their selection and prices. Normally I would give this store 5 stars, but on this particular visit, I spent a lot of time in misdirection! Two different employees gave me two different answers as to where the tool that i wanted, was located. Both of them were wrong. But as I was leaving, a third employee asked if he could help me and I told him that the store was obviously out of the hand-held propane heater I needed, so no thank you. Incredibly, he went straight to the location and handed me the heater!! As more employees are better trained, my score will improve back to 5 stars. I will certainly continue to shop at Harbor...

Love this place. I come here more than my local Harbor Freight in Warwick, R.I., because this location always seems to have the items I want in stock, unlike Warwick.

Also, there seems to be more employees, and better-quality employees, than the Warwick location. I have no trouble finding help here, and they always know exactly where items are in the store. Cashiers are great.

Overall, the store just seems neater and better-organized. Manager here must run a tight ship.
