This 5 Star Review is for Liz Severineanu. I recently took her Pilates Class, and I cannot say enough how amazing, knowledgeable, and kind this instructor is! I am currently 43 years old and a breast cancer survivor! I am also a former dancer with 18 years plus training. I tried Liz’s class for the first time, and I am hooked. Before this, I had been feeling so down and discouraged since my fitness level was not like it use to be. I was extremely intimidated getting back into classes. Liz’s class was a beyond amazing workout, It also has given me the confidence that I can be fit again! Her class is excellent for all Pilates Levels as she shows you modifications that can be used. My daughter is 20 years old and physically fit and she absolutely fell in love with her class too! I’m hooked on her class and most importantly it has brought me back to my ballet days! I never thought that was possible! Thank you Liz! - Jeannette and Alexis Update: 7/17/25 I rarely leave negative reviews and this update really does not pertain to any of the staff members! I have always had pleasant interactions with them! Especially the instructors: Liz, Adrienne, Kyrsten, Donna, and Ramona! All bring a Positive Energy to their classes! Mario at the front desk in the am is also always pleasant and greets every member that walks through the door with a hello and good morning! I recently came back to classes after taking a break: There have been a few difficult members in the past with, “mean girl behavior.” But, has it multiplied since I left? Or, is it more with the members that take the morning classes? Some of these woman need to slow it down a bit and learn etiquette or even respect! The way they bully members that are not “regulars” is completely unacceptable and out of hand! I understand it’s possible they are possibly struggling with something bigger on the inside or maybe even sat at the lunch table alone when they were in high school. But, people can only take the high road so much! I would love to know why a grown woman felt it was ok to get nasty with my 21 year old adult daughter yesterday? All over a spot in a class. Then, proceeded to tell her she can stay in the spot when we offered to move over, but that she “better behave?” I didn’t know whether to feel sorry for this woman or get angry! She left me quite confused! It’s a shame because the YMCA is going to loose members because of this behavior. Maybe they should start charging a vip price for these woman and their exclusive spots...

If I would give no star then there will be no star for this location. They are 10000% terrible. I never been this upset before. I canceled my membership on April 2,2019, but still charge for May and for June. since they don’t do cancellation over the phone so I went there sign the form , Amy is the one who also sign on the bottom of the form. Somehow, they didn’t cancel my service right away instead someone from membership department name Ryan call me after a week to see if there anything they can do to help me which I do appreciate the effort, but at this point I just want to leave, nothing you can say or do. Period. I missed the call but I called back, Ryan didn’t answer as usual, straight to the voice mail which I don’t care I am not going anything from him. I thought that’s is. But After a month my credit card is still got charge for it, so I called called called, front desk always answer the phone but they always transfer my call to someone else, but no one ever ever pick up the phone. I feel like I left 1 million messages no one bother to call me back. When they call me back, I missed the phone call, when I called them back same cycle all over again, what does......, seriously how hard to get in touch with other people, on Monday June 3,2019 someone also from membership department name Amanda finally pick up the phone call, so I explain to her what happened, no sorry what so ever, she cannt find the cancellation form that I signed on April 2,2019 , asked me to email her, but her email is so long, so hard, so I asked her to send me an email instead I send to her, she doesn’t want to. Fine , I wrote her email down, somehow it keeps saying wrong email address, but I did confirm with her multiple time maybe I am stupid, I don’t know. You have no idea how frustrated to try to send an email but it keeps fail. So I printed 4 copy of the form and also wrote on the first page with my contact info and explain what happened. Today is Wednesday still nobody call me back. Why I am the victim here but I have to keep calling calling them. Seriously I am done, going to call the bank. Going to let all my family and friend to leave place. Here is her email address...

This location possess a safe, pleasant, convenient and positive environment for kids and adults of all ages!

👍 Special recognition to Phil Stern, Associate Program Director, it’s not often that you see a Director actively involved in the logistics of an event and greets you at the front door with his employee(s). 🚨 Kudos to Prince & Mateo for their exceptional service and professionalism that impacted everyone’s experience including the Birthday Girl!

Prince & Mateo demonstrated a lot of pride on what they do, expertise and delivered “world class service” from beginning to end.

As a VP/Manager for a large known company, I have trained, coached and evaluated hundreds of employees around service! Prince & Mateo possess the skills and experience necessary around delivering world class service and hosting their guests! They were simply on point and efficient!

Recommendation(s): Re-evaluate the 2 hour limitation for Pool Birthday parties. Perhaps you may want to consider changing from 2 to 3 hours or providing a 30 minutes window for guest(s) to transition from the pool to changing lockers to the party room! When you have multiple kids it can be challenge to change them in a timely manner. I’m confident that Prince & Mateo can share their observations and provide valuable...
