Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Rutherford

This is one of the worst Popeyes I've ever been to. The woman I assume to be the manager (because she had on a gray shirt, I could be wrong) was very rude and unprofessional. When I walked in there were already several people in front of me. After about 5 minutes of waiting without being attended to, I asked the people around me if they had already ordered. One guy said he ordered and was waiting and another woman told me she hadn't ordered yet. So I waited for another 5 mins or so and still, didn't say anything to me or the lady in front of me. Meanwhile, the entire time I'm there they are just back there running their mouths amongst each other, carrying on very loudly and obnoxiously. One of the guys even looked at me and gestured towards me his disgust for what was going on but decided to keep quiet. However, I could no longer keep quiet after 10 minutes of them pretending that I was invisible. I asked the woman with the gray top what was the wait time and she responded that she didn't know. So I then said you have to give us some kind of ETA because we have been waiting for a while. She responded arrogantly that they were busy with everyone else but I persisted that it was wrong to give such an answer in such manner. We then got into an argument about it and then she told me "oh well, that's why you aren't getting any food from here, goodbye. I'll admit I was irate myself but only because of the lack of professionalism. I don't mind waiting but as a paying customer I, along with the others should be welcomed, not pushed away. Much like the other Popeyes that we visited last week, there was a line out the driveway waiting for Popeyes chicken sandwich that recently returned. Inside there was also quite the line however it move fairly quickly. All the employees were quite busy while we were making the best of a busy day. We purchase the four piece chicken meal, the Popeyes sandwich, of course, and the Mardi Gras Cheesecake. The chicken was so good that I think I left teeth marks on the bones! The Mardi Gras cheesecake was nice and thick just the way I like it.I think the color toppings are nothing more than decoration. We were disappointed with the soda machine as many of the flavors were actually empty leaving fewer choices then we would prefer. The table area and floor was clean and we noticed them cleaning as we enjoyed our meal. The bathroom is also quite clean, which we know it can be quite tough for a fast food. Food was about as expected. The service and professionalism of the employees was not so great. There was an employee in the back of the kitchen yelling at employee on break in the dining are who was passing messages to someone on the phone. This continued from when we arrived to until we got our food. There was an extra wait for the chicken my wife ordered and they mentioned wings. We agreed to the wing substitution but assumed more than two wings would be given to replace the two piece, we were wrong. We were not provided napkins. I went to the counter to get napkins and ask if two for two was an equivalent substitution. I waited a couple minutes for any acknowledgement. While waiting none of the employees that were not taking an order stopped to ask if I needed something. Once the lady on the register finished I was assisted and they did offer two more wings. Not sure if this is just how things should be expected now but I foe one will not...
