The Vendor Emporium — Local services in East Tawas

Walked into this store with the intention of buying some gifts for family members. While looking at a wall of cups, I grabbed one and showed my friends since the design was something I thought my mother would like. I then put the cup back and went to another part of the store, where I found another cup that I planned to buy. While browsing other areas of the store, the woman at the counter then begins to accuse me of stealing one of the cups from the wall since there was an empty spot. Firstly, I would never steal. Secondly, there were numerous others in the store. The woman didn’t even take a second to see if another customer grabbed the cup. Also, there was a cup sitting on the table in front of the wall that was more than likely the cup she accused me of stealing. Thirdly, the only cup I actually grabbed wasn’t even near the empty spot on the wall. The woman was trying to force me to admit to something I didn’t do. She claimed she would see me stealing on the camera and that I should just admit to save everyone some time and grief. She never pulled up the camera footage to try and prove it. If you’re going to treat your customers like this, good luck trying to stay in business. I come up here every year with my friends and my friend’s family. You just lost all of our business and everyone else I plan to tell about this encounter....

Come up here with my girlfriends family and friends every year. This year is the first time we have seen this store. Whilst me and my girlfriend were looking at some rings we were planning on getting, the old woman behind the counter started yelling at our friend for stealing something. She kept saying the empty spot on the shelf was a cup she insisted was stolen. Our friend tried fighting it because she and all of us knew she would never steal. I asked the lady if the missing cup was the one on a lower shelf out of place and she shot back incredibly rudely that I was wrong and that she in fact stole the cup. She kept saying she has cameras and that our friend needed to admit to what she did to save everyone grief. Our friends purse isn’t even big enough to fit the cup. I was really excited to stop by the store, since I love crystals and hand made items. There was only a small display of crystals. There was large selection of rings that look like rings you could buy in bulk from amazon. I did enjoy most of the earrings and necklaces on display. Some of the necklaces felt cheap with pendants you could buy yourself on amazon. Overall, not a great spot for crystals and handmade jewelry. It is definitely a spot that kids could enjoy with some...
