Dishfunctional — Local services in East Whiteland Township

So glad I happened to stop in the other day on my way home from work. This place has a great selection of really neat stuff at totally reasonable prices, including some great, antique pieces that have been refinished, repainted, etc. and given new life. As soon as I walked in, the staff (Gina and Alfred, who is the owner) greeted me warmly and went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for. They were also flexible enough to allow me to put some furniture (a gorgeous dining room table and chair set with matching buffet server) on "hold" while I spoke with my husband about purchasing it. When I came back the next day to purchase, two other female staff members assisted me (I'm sorry I didn't get their names, but they were also fabulous). From my minimal dealings with them, it's very clear that these people are passionate about and excellent at what they do and that Alfred treats employees like family. I would highly recommend...

I have to start by saying that the greeting we received when we first came in the door was friendly, informative, and engaging. It’s everything I expect from all retail businesses but rarely receive anymore. Thank you for that. You should teach classes to other shopkeepers on how to do this. Then there’s the store and all of the beautiful dishes and trinkets. So many dishes!! The store is clean, well organized, and prices are labeled on each piece.
