I had one of the worst customer service experiences at Masala House Groceries on 10/11/2024. They opened at 10 AM, and I arrived right on time to buy some coconuts. When I noticed they had a curtain covering the vegetable area, I pulled it back to grab a coconut.
Suddenly, a skinny guy approached me and rudely demanded, "Why didn't you wait two minutes? What if a fire starts? Who's responsible?" I was taken aback by his aggressive tone. I tried to calmly ask why he was so upset, but he insisted he wasn't angry. Yet, his face was red, which made me question if he was either hungover or just plain angry.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable in customer service. They really need training to treat customers with respect...

I recently purchased Divya’s for Diwali and this owner charged me 11.99$ for a normal (without any design) Divya’s which were 11 in count. Like seriously!!! For normal rangoli powder they charged 3.6$ for one small box… I normally avoid putting reviews but this was one of the worst Indian grocery stores that I visited in last 5 years near Los Angeles area.
