Masala House Groceries — Local services in Eastvale

I had one of the worst customer service experiences at Masala House Groceries on 10/11/2024. They opened at 10 AM, and I arrived right on time to buy some coconuts. When I noticed they had a curtain covering the vegetable area, I pulled it back to grab a coconut.

Suddenly, a skinny guy approached me and rudely demanded, "Why didn't you wait two minutes? What if a fire starts? Who's responsible?" I was taken aback by his aggressive tone. I tried to calmly ask why he was so upset, but he insisted he wasn't angry. Yet, his face was red, which made me question if he was either hungover or just plain angry.

This kind of behavior is unacceptable in customer service. They really need training to treat customers with respect...

Over priced with everything!! I regret stopping by at this shop for taking the groceries. Every item in this shop is priced way to high as compared to other stores. I recently purchased Divya’s for Diwali and this owner charged me 11.99$ for a normal (without any design) Divya’s which were 11 in count. Like seriously!!! For normal rangoli powder they charged 3.6$ for one small box… I normally avoid putting reviews but this was one of the worst Indian grocery stores that I visited in last 5 years near Los Angeles area. Buyers be very aware about the cost if you are shopping...

Want share great experience I had with staff, l felt initially staff was bit serious until this incident happened with me that showed how great and responsible they are. I lost my wallet at their store (dropped from pocket at the door) and they were dedicated and was smart to trace my contact, called me and checked my contact during handover of wallet, I offered lunch but staff didn’t take it.
