If you want to wait 40 min for ok food with a side of HORRIBLE SERVICE!, then this place is the spot for you! I had noticed the 1 star reviews on service but my husband was adamant that the food looked great so we went. We were in fairly good spirit and we ordered channa bhatura , aloo tikki, and drinks. We sat ourselves in the booth right in front of the counter where the guys are serving and attending to customers. We waited for our food and after 15 min we got one aloo Tikki. Then my husband said where is the other one? We then waited an additional 10 min and during this time noticed that they were serving people dosa that came after us. Then the sec tikki came after another 6 min and my husband jokingly said dude where is the food we keep eating tikkis. The tall guy at the counter says rudely, I'll bring the food when it's ready and dismissed my husband. I began to suspect that they simply forgot our order bec we had ordered channa and halwa abd bhatura. Channa and halwa are already pre prepared and sitting in the front so are you telling me it took 40 min to fry bhaturay???? They kept asking each other about our order and finally I saw the cook in the back fry the bhatura and it came. We were starving and extremely put off by the service. They kept forgetting things and would need reminders constantly. Our entire mood was turned sour. When we first sat down I wanted to get saag, daal, and makhi roti and various sweets for my FIL, but after receiving the treatment we got we decided to just leave. My husband told the guy in the end that he was very rude and why was he like that and the guy said that's just how I am and my customers know me. My husband said idk you. I have nothing against u but your attitude was not customer friendly. The guy was still hostile and we left vowing to never go there again. I ordered samosas, pakoras, and chicken wraps from them for a small tea party. They always confirm a day before, they never did. I got severely sick with Covid with high fevers and dangerously high blood pressurewhere I could not even speak or move. Needless to say, it was impossible for me to call to cancel. They called me to pick up the food and I explained my situation to them. As a loyal customer who has been going to them for years, I expected sympathy, they demanded that food be picked up. I explained that i am severely ill and cannot pick up the food. They demanded a payment over the phone. As a responsible, loyal customer, i wanted to do the right thing, i asked for discount as the food is useless for me. We were then told, as it turns out that they messed up the main part of order, which was chicken wraps, they ended up making panerr wraps that MEANT MAIN ORDER WAS INCORRECT. They still did not make any consolation and asked order that they did get right, gets picked up. I had to call around and find someone to go pick up the order that they mostly got wrong. I paid, now I am stuck with 40 samosas and a big tray of pakoras that I paid 100 dollars for. Really really disappointed in masala house. 🚨UPDATED TO-GO SYSTEM: Really love the food but if you need a quick stop for a pick up order it is basically nonexistent now.

I called in to place my order, I was told I was only able to place the naan bread in advance and the rest of the food I had to order in person because it’s already made. I’ve been coming here for at least 8 years and I never once was asked to order this way so I was confused but whatever. Didn’t take my name or phone number.

Once I arrived I finished placing the rest of my order and I still had to wait 15 minutes for my naan bread.

A woman that had been waiting before me also had been waiting, and two other to-go-order-clients that walked in after me had to wait for naan bread as well. The last customer that I witnessed picking up her order apparently was able to place her entire order over the phone, but the staff member still didn’t prepare it until the customer got there.

Again great food but if you’re on a time crunch (Ex: You’re on lunch break or need to pick up something quick for the family) maybe go else where. You need more time to wait for your food here and calling in advance doesn’t...
