I only stopped because I needed a bathroom and my infant needed a break from our 6 hour trip. I never use a restroom without making a purchase, and since I've always had good luck with Weis, I figured I'd stop in. Right from the start, I felt watched. Maybe it was just me, but every person seemed to look at me and not say anything. No smiles. Just strange. Typically, a restroom is in the customer service area. The architecture of this building doesn't really allow for that. Theirs is in the back...the actual back. You have to walk in their inventory area. Employees pushing carts and taking their lunch at the table just outside the men's room door. For me, I'm not so bothered. Just a very odd situation. The store itself is shaped somewhat oddly. The product I was looking for was in a section, strangely separated from the rest of the store by an alcohol section. They didn't have what I wanted, so I stopped at the deli. Nobody greeted me, despite there being 2 Employees and what appears to have been a manager behind the counter. Maybe they don't make sandwiches and Wraps to order. Whatever. I assume nothing. They did have a chicken wrap in the counter. It was as basic as it gets and still $7. There was literally just a scoop or so of chicken ranch salad with a stray hunk of bacon in it, all on a flour wrap. It wasn't bad. It just didn't have things like...lettuce, or maybe tomato (which is fine as I hate tomatoes.) In all, I'm not so much complaining about the place. It just feels like there is a lot to be desired, and Bidenomics is getting old. I'm still blown away with how Pennsylvania allowed what happened on 2020. Shameful and self...
Read moreClean and shelves stocked and sorted. When you look at a product and wonder what it costs the tag is under or over it. Not look at a product and then look at the tag for price and it's not even the product. Sales are good, love the 10 for 10.00. All the produce looks fresh and a good selection or variety. A good selection of seafood, fresh and cooked and freezer. An get this, this is the best part. Lots of registers with real people. They do have the self checkouts. No need really unless by your choice. Plus you collect points for shopping with club card and well turn them in after you build up some points. I've gotten free milk before holiday serving platter, hams, turkey's, fitness items even. All in all I would recommend the store for sure. Oh and another perk the staff there are all friendly and I get asked many times over by workers there, " How are you is there anything I can help you with or do you need any assistance." I have asked before when they've asked and they knew rite what I was talking about and helped and took me rite to the product I was looking for. So unlike most places when you can't find anyone to ask an if you do they never know and it's not there department. A good store with good people. This is the Weis in Tunkhannock that is what my review is on I'm not sure of others and couldn't tell you. An this is my personal experience....which has made the whole grocery shopping experience a less...
